Somehow this 'honest' fascist is more terrifying than the others. The way he just calmly explains how it's perfectly acceptable to murder tens of thousands of gay people. People who believe in logic can usually change their mind whenever they are presented convincing logical thought process that they understand. The worse type is the ones who believe in logic only if they are right, but as soon as they are wrong they retreat to the "there is no absolute truth" argument, combined with being weasely as fuck. Using Ernst Rhom to show the possibility of a Fascist regime's tolerance to gay people is laughable. As soon as Rohm was weak enough to be removed he was murdered. If he was openly gay, he would NEVER have reached the position of leader of the SA and if he started out as an openly gay man to become say, an SS officer at the height of Hitler's power he would have been laughed at and then Murdered.

The friend-enemy distinction that you talked about is (according to Schmitt and others) an antagonism that is inherent in the political itself, that is immanent in all ideologies, and isn’t something that is unique to the right wing.
I’m not a fan of the trend in some parts of the left of saying you are necessarily a fascist if you READ something. That’s just insane.

That point about Fascist economics being based mainly on the perceived needs of the moment is exactly why Nazbols are a thing. They are fascists, but even they see the problems with the current economic paradigm and so adopt the position that the uber wealthy need to be reigned in and social programs strengthened.
