Very nice and simple recipe. Yes, boiling in a little hot water is better as it avoids chances of milk getting sour, while boiling, if we add directly the sabbakki / sabudana to the boiling milk. Thanks for your warm welcome. Do give us simple, tasty & healthy recipes. Tx.
Not like that.. usually we get 3kinds of sabbakki... One is the white variety (for kheer).. 2nd is the small nylon sabbakki for idly... 3rd is the big nylon sabbakki to prepare chivda... Always use white sabbakki... And you have to store in refrigerator... Keeping outside sabbakki for longer period may end up becoming flour when you add to water or milk...
