the remotes being your powerup orbiting things in Gradius (or, for example, the hovering extra shot sources the heroines of Subterranean Animism get as they power up...or lose as they power down, along with losing the ability to bomb) this seems to have been ZUN's intent. In an SA context, your Last Remote means you're at 1.00 power, and the next hit on the Extra Stage is probably a run ender.
My favorite part of last remote is how in the climax of the song you think it will peak once but then it hits you twice with that melody, and i can't help but picture the scene of two heroes fighting, one arriving a little later than the other, but still just in the knick of time

To me Last Remote is Koishi's real theme while Hartmann's Youkai Girl is how others see her. One of the most emotional songs in the series for one of the most tragic characters.
Last Remote was already emotional and soothing, but your interpretation makes those feelings grow even stronger... like a pouring of emotions before passing to a different and contrasting life. Thank you for this cover, it's really good!

Definitely one of my fav themes! In my honest opinion it doesn't lend itself very well to a piano arrangement aside from the climax but you've captured the really memorable parts! I like how you went for a not-obvious ending phrase, and how you pulled off the finger gymnastics in the opening fantastic as always

Last Remote. I... think it fits one too well in the setting - flying through a forgetful snowstorm in order to try and find a person that has last been seen here. Hoping, praying, that the person is still there and can provide the answers you seek. The wind is harsh, but your determination lets you break through it with ease. Why do your piano covers manage to make me cry? A rhetorical question, please do know that you are awesome.
That Koishi fumo looks as it was dragged from KKHTA to real life 💀 nice cover, finally my 1 year old request is fulfilled, altho I don't feel as much emotion towards that song much anymore (Koishi effect lol), let's be honest, the most exciting part of the song is the end of the song with the known leitmotif, and all of the calming parts, the rest is kind of meh btw I still rember seeing your comment on the original last remote ost maybe 10 years old?
Ballad of the one who lost her eye. Such a powerful cover. Rather than feeling upbeat and airy with a slight emotional tint, this cover goes fully for the emotion and sticks the landing perfectly. It gives me the mental image of an emotionally devastated Satori caring for her sister, who is still bedridden from the shock of sewing her third eye shut, going to her piano and just playing this as a means to cope with the loss. Beautiful.
Last time i heard last remote was me stuck on the first fairies with circle patterns on the beginning of the stage for more than 3 hours per extra try (i have crumbled my mind to the limit i began not feeling well and when i won i tried to stay away from everything touhou related, even discord servers)
It's not a Fumo! :) I got it on AliExpress, it's just a different style of Koishi plushie. For some reason I prefer it to the regular Fumo...don't know why though lol
