Yes - I keep going back and forth about this product - If it was $75 I would use 2 of them to supplement the areas in the back of my tank (or even just the standard 8811 if it did 15W underwater and was $50). But I am thinking about the MicroMol Solo now - 100euro - 20W with 28x 440nm / 8 x380nm! plus 8 others and looks slick. Just doesn't run underwater and this gives the Tunze a HUGE edge because no light is reflected off the surface.
I think Tunze have it right - they make solid products and don't change them - you pay a bit more for reliability. I wish they were priced more competitively and I think Tunze would do a heap more volume if they did so. This light - set Blue spectrum - no control at $75 and black and every everyone with a RSR or Waterbox would have 2 in the back of their tanks.

8831 would be great for that - I saw the Reef Builders video where he did that but I think it'd work better with the purple grow light.

for a better growth of SPS would you need additional such lamps? or perhaps running the same lamp at higher power would do?

I figured it was pronounced something like Tun-say. Neither Toonz nor Toon-zee sound very Italian. It reminds me of the Nissan debate (though I feel like the American pronunciation is closer to right in this case :-P )
120 pounds is how much in American money? They sell for $170 bulk reef supply little expensive for this little light.
At today's rate it's $150. It's definitely expensive for what it is
