    This clip is insane! Came here after listening to Zac Keefer's podcast series 'Luck'. I live in the UK and know nothing about college football. Amazing what Luck was capable of as a football player.

    Double fumble, wow. I've never, ever seen a QB make a defender fumble.

    • @ogkrieg

      Johnny Manziel did it in a game at Texas A&M. He caught up to the defender and caused the fumble, another guy picked it up and Manziel chased him down and tackled him also.

    Gentlemen, it's like five in the morning where I live. My cat just took a huge diarrhea shit all over the bath mat. I had to fold it over and throw it outside.
    It stank up the whole house. The smell was so bad, I almost puked. There had to have been a pint of shit there. Oh God, it was horrible.

    Whether he deserved a penalty or not, there isn't even a QB in the NFL would do this. Even if he had been nailed with the penalty, he still saved the touchdown. I like some of the tackles he's made in the NFL after throwing picks (his fault) that were legal.

    @Bribedpayton34 You obviously don't understand rugby, more specifically Rugby Union (other is League, a bit different). In Union they wrap their arms around the player because it's the rules, you can only tackle with wrapped arms. And you're not trying to 'force' any turnovers or fumbles, you're supposed to let go of the ball when you're tackled in Union, it's the rules. You tackle so a fumble happens and try to steal the ball
    If you watch League, it's more violent than Union

    @wowfosho obviously if you think football is easy you haven't played. And let's see if your neck is in one piece if you "put your head down and hit" and quarterbacks actually have different pads than other positions so they have more mobility with their arms. So yes, it would hurt.

    People do not get that a lacerated kidney is not like a broken nose or a broken down knee. Internal injuries are life threatening. He had a responsibility to his LOVE ONES to retire. Talk to any of the defenders who playing against him in the NFL, and none of them questioned his toughness. The Colts offensive line was shit, and yet Luck never complained about a late hit.

    @lordvoldemort578 I bet my mother who had three boys wanted a girl. I have a friend who has 4 girls before he got a boy. He was sooo funny when he let it be known Debbie was pregnant again (4 girls) Of course people are thinking geez another kid? He said judge if you want to! They got their boy. If any parent ever only had kids when they felt they could afford them none of us would be here. Don't worry you'll have sex again

    @lordvoldemort578 Hey my man I like you. Congrats to you and your Wife for having your girlies . Remember this; no matter what they do enjoy it, even the bad stuff because before you even try to adjust or correct it they will be over that and it will be on to something else. My Girl keeps me in check. I learned it's not what i say it's what I do that gets noticed. Just like a good coach.

  • @tellthetruthg
    @tellthetruthg 13 років тому

    @lordvoldemort578 wow I never heard that one about Walsh could watch tape of a QB's feet and know if he had a bad game or not. It doesn't surprise me though. Maybe he saw D linemens feet in the same frame . Oh O bad game.I was being a smart ass there. If you trace Walshes Carer he was on staffs that the passing game was ahead of the times. Seriously with out Montana his system didn't have the same success. He did coach other QB's . Walsh + Joe was lethal add John Taylor, Rice , Craig , OMG

  • @lordvoldemort578
    @lordvoldemort578 13 років тому

    @tellthetruthg Yeah, The system Joe Montana was in he was destined to succeed I mean it was all rhythemic timing, and accuracy, that's why Walsh didn't care if Montana didn't have a big time arm coming out college. He noticed that Montana had such great footwork and that he would be perfect for his offense. Bill Walsh once said he could tell if a Quarterback had a bad game If you just showed him a tape of only his feet.

  • @lordvoldemort578
    @lordvoldemort578 13 років тому

    @tellthetruthg Exactly Manning pissed me off, Daddy told him backstage before the pick that he should threaten to quit football if they didn't trade ELi I would've laughed if every team after that said "K seeya"
    Your Niner fan? That's great sorta replying to two comments in this one because I don't got time If Bill Walsh was still alive, And he coached Luck like he coached Montana. and Luck has the defense of similar to the purple people eaters or the steel curtain. WOW. the possibilities

  • @tellthetruthg
    @tellthetruthg 13 років тому

    @lordvoldemort578 Tampa Bay good team on the rise. I like your team too and Josh Freeman. Yup you don't have a shot at the # 1 pic but Tampa still has an elite QB so they are better off than a lot of teams. Freeman's upside is still in front of him. I know one day I'll be rooting against Luck; Niner Fan!! Now if Eddie D still ran things the Niners might give up a Bartollo to get the # 1 next draft pic

  • @tellthetruthg
    @tellthetruthg 13 років тому

    @lordvoldemort578 If he goes to team not wearing the jersey of your favorite team be afraid be very afraid. I saw the catch on the HB reverse option and he snagged the ball and got 1 foot down would have made Jerry Rice take notice. He's the real deal no doubt, and from everything I hear on Bay sports talk radio all of the media say he's humble not the fake kind either. Go Stanford, Who doesn't want a truly play by the rules team to win

    Andrew Luck is Stanford Universities quarterback this year. Last I knew they were not playing in the NFL. He does hit like a linebacker tho, that Wright kid got blasted, hope his coach notified the next of kin....
    Dumbass Carson Palmer, if he could have pulled this shit after this season, Bengals would get Luck, I suppose we can live with "The Red Rocket" tho, he's got some spunk.

    @MrPatchesPal Irresponsible? Yes Thug? No. Thugs are characterized by violence, Shareece Wright was never charged with any violent crime during his USC tenure. I did not know bad grades, missed court dates, and verbally, not physically, refusing the order of police officiers, he was never even arrested at the scene, consitituted thuggery. He is simply irresponsible. Stop labeling every young black man a thug who has had some sort of character issue. Life is not a rap video. It's getting old.

Im not going to take the time to check, but seriously, how come I see the ..... is more physical than ..... argument on every forum? You only end up sounding like Mac and Dennis from "Its Always Sunny..." arguing about which guy from Predator has the best physique. Do ALL a favor and keep football out your mouth. • @Bribedpayton34
    @Bribedpayton34 14 років тому

    @Zacky001Vengeance lol this never happens in rugby. Tackling styles in rugby and football or WAY different. In football the main objective is to hit them in the chest which without padding will cause the player to be come paralyze or could even result in death. In rugby, the object is to bring the player to the ground in order to force a turnover. In rugby, the tackler (ideally) wants to wrap up around the upper legs, and drag the runner to ground.

    @bright5086200 Wow, all hits are like this. You take advantage of the opportunity. DBs best hits come when WR's aren't even looking. DE's hit QB's who can't even see them. Remember when Reggie Bush got laid out on that bubble screen? He wasn't looking, had just caught the ball, and was set up for the hit by the QB. It was still a great hit and so is this. By the way, I played football for 8 years.

    @Sentenza233 I agree, but Rodgers was like 24th~ pick, cant remember exactly. Plus, Favre was on the down slope of his career and GB expected him to retire after 1-2 years. I think Peyton still has atleast 4-5 years of elite level play in him and Colts obv. need more than a backup QB right now. Just my opinion.

    @vegeta8085 where's the evidence behind that? Oregon demolished Stanford. Don't mean sound hateful. I think Stanford is a great team and Luck is going to win the Heisman this year unless something weird happens. However, the best team last year did win the national championship. Shame there isn't a playoff yet so we don't have these kind of arguments

    if u look reallllly closely you see his head goes to the side and his shoulder is actually what he leads with to hit... sure, they slightly bump heads and head to chest but that's just cuz the backer is running forward and well... the physics here is obvious i hope i don't actually have to explain it, that's a proper tackle. so yea,... stick to WoW bro.

    @TheUserword @TheUserword Quarterbacks in football are on the field because of their throwing ability. They are generally the weakest players on the field and have a tough time tackling other players (they're rarely asked to do). However, in this play, the quarterback of Stanford (#12) laid out one of USC's defensive players. Not something you see very often in football...

  • @JD4Trojhans
    @JD4Trojhans 14 років тому

    @k00ld00d1107 Why are USC fans douchy again? We NEVER stom the field after a victory. Nor do we ever shove a win down the throats of the other team. (asside from ND and UCLA) Everyone gets soo happy when they beat USC. I don't get it man. If I were a Stanford fan, I would have been mad the game was that close against a team that should EASILY be beaten.

    YEA PEOPLE. its kind of easy to hit a guy very hard when he is off balance, grabbing something, and just stood up not even running half speed. Its not a great hit. Its a hard hit. IF it were me that guy would be dead. The QB was just at the right place at the right time. Thats all.
