Fantastic video dude! I appreciate the tool needed introduction, the Amazon list, the details of the process, but most of all: the music! I will follow this video and fix my monitor! Will keep you posted!
My LCD screen has been broken for a while but this video honestly gave me the confidence that I can manage to change it myself! Thanks a bunch, will be buying a new screen this week and attempting to change it, will give updates :)
Really appreciate you making this video! Gave me the confidence to do it myself and saved thousands on a new laptop. Everything was super easy and doable except putting the WiFi/antenna cables back was very very tough. I thought it would never go in and I almost mixed up the order of the wires! Thanks again!
Thanks for the tutorial - a great walkthrough. I have an odd outcome, screen is black when I turn the laptop on, then If I shut and reopen the screen it works? after that all is good. Could it be a connection? Thank you!
Thank you for this great tutorial. I replaced my A1502 display but the screen intensity (F1 / F2) don't work normally. F1 makes the screen whiter (more contrast) and F2 put the screen back to normal. Instead of F1 reducing the luminosity and F2 increasing it. Is the replacement screen (2nd hand) defect? Thanks
thanks for the tutorial! I successfully replaced my (MB pro, early 2015) broken screen while this was running background. although the easygoing music and fine motor skills of presenter make some steps look easy, my sunday bicycle mechanic skills found them not so simple. here are some thoughts that I find useful to share in retrospect: - don’t force anything. easy ”finger power” with correct angle does the trick. although when disassembling, my rear plate and some of the connectors were quite well stuck - WIFI-connector cables took me couple of minutes to reinstall them properly, the other two cables (video connector & ”cable underneath”) came off by pushing parallel to the motherboard, not lifting up like wifi cables did. - also the new display screen is good to align with the bottom part before tightening the screws, so it sits properly in first time.
I’m about to attempt this myself pretty soon. Just ordered a screen from eBay. Do the WiFi connecter cables have to be placed in any type of order? It doesn’t seem like they’re marked.
Yeah I’m confused about that. Apple wants to charge me a little under $500 to ship laptop in and replace the screen and they said it might be even less, just depends, so I don’t get why this screen is almost $600 even though I would be installing it.
Great video, but I remind everyone the torx driver to be used is 6 point not 5 as many vendors, and I think Apple too, refers to them as pentalope which is 5 sides.
Hi, Please see description. Should be above the comment. Or you can try this link: ebay.to/2WZClnN amzn.to/3083KWp So far that's the cheapest. Due to covid, supply is limited and price are going up. Good luck !
Does anyone know if i want to just replace the front part, what the front screen is called? i have tried for hours to find the product code and have failed
I just hate how apple makes this shit so expensive to fix it’s a shame because I’d rather fix my old Mac then by a new windows pc no way can I afford a new Mac fuck me lol
I owe you a beer. This was excellent. It's the only tutorial I used and now my A1502 is working again. Thanks!

Glad I could help!

Willl this work for a 2015 MacBook Pro Touch Bar
Yes. Should be the same steps

Great video. How do you know the correct position of the three wires connected to wifi card?
It kind goes from shortest, medium and longest length cable.
Are the wifi cables labeled or does it not matter what order they go in.
Make sure wifi goes back to it's original slot
Thank You !
You are welcome. Glad the video helped.
hello i have read that 2013, 2014 and 2015 screen are interchangeable. what happens if i put a 2013 on a 2015 screen please?

Where is the list of thing's to buy? All I see are the comments? Where is the cheapest place to get a screen?
Hi,
Please see description. Should be above the comment.
Or you can try this link:

Hi, what is the most reasonable and affordable price for A1502 retina replacement screen and which site is best to order from? please and thank you
Anna Kuznetsoff
ALI baba and for 200
Would a 2012 screen be compatible with a 2015 computer?
No.
Ty!!
You are welcome. Glad the video helped.
anyone knows if I can replace the broken screen of MacBook pro 13inch Early 2015 with a MacBook pro 13inch Late 2015 screen?
Hi, late 2015 and early 2015 is the same screen.
Can I replace a Macbook Pro A1502 EARLY 2015 with a screen/lcd of a macbook pro a1602/a1702??
No. It has to be the same exact screen.
I just replaced a new screen and the screen is still black. Wont even show anything.
Good 👍🏻
Does anyone know if i want to just replace the front part, what the front screen is called? i have tried for hours to find the product code and have failed
Replacing just the front glass, not the LCD, it's really a pain.
Its bonded and really isn't worth the headache
You need to tell which directions cables need to be pulled. Whether it’s towards the screen, away from you, etc. this is confusing…
Thanks, will explain in next video
500 for a new screen? dang bro imma buy a new one at that point
I know. Used to be 250-300.
@@UbergeeksBiz that’s still too expensive
You are making me nervous just tossing your tiny screws everywhere, I swear I heard it fall on the ground.. ahhhkkk nooo!
haa
Haha.. they are all on the table.
❤️😁👍
Thank you
It’s very obvious apple designs these things to make them as difficult to repair as possible so people will be discouraged and buy new ones.
Spot on
