Anathema are underrated. They're not well-known or over-played to be overrated. They're a well-kept secret by those of us who love them. They are simply magnificent - end of story.
The studio version of this is one of my favourite songs. It hits heavy both musically and emotionally, written for their mother who passed away. Check it out if you have time!A fantastic headphone song for an evening... haunting and beautiful.
This is one of my favorite bands ever. This song is about the loss of the Cavanaugh boys mother. I hated they went on hiatus because of covid and I hope they reunite when this craziness ends. Their song Internal Landscapes is a must listen. And the live video of Untouchable and Untouchable part 2 is chilling. The more you dive into their music ,the more you will fall in love with them. Stay safe.
This song was dedicated to her mother. Anathema is an emotional journey...one of the best band ever...check out Untouchable Pt. I and II from de same DVD, The Lost Song Pt. II, Are You There?, Dreaming Light, Internal LandScape, Flying, Ariel...You'll love it...greetings from Argentina..
Anathema is a great band. They have some heavier songs as well, but are really good at creating engaging, beautiful and emotional soundscapes. Untouchable part 1&2 would be a "usual" recommendation. A natural disaster is another candidate. I love their song Violence, but it might not be the best candidate for a reaction.
Mike & Ginger, next week here in Nashville, we celebrate the Outlaw Music Movement with such great artist as Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Jessi Colter, Jerry Jeff Walker, Kris Kristofferson, Guy Clark, and many more. Maybe you can do a reaction video to "Brianna Harness" & Struggle Jennings performing, SUNNY DAYS. This song pays tribute to those artist who paved the way to keep the Outlaw music alive...
This was my break up song for my high school girlfriend. 5 years later I found out it's about their mother (3 brothers in the band), but we interpret songs to fit ourselves.
That was pretty good, new group for me as well. Regarding the Beatles I feel that they perhaps were one of the first groups to arrive on the music scene that people had never heard the likes of before. You have to remember music at that time was rock and roll era (Elvis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bill Haley etc). Maybe you have to live through it to appreciate them. Not that I’m saying they are my favourites by any means. ❤️🤘🎸🇦🇺
It's not Ana-theme-a. It's not the name Ana + a little something extra. Go to Google and have it pronounce the word 'anathema' for you. Their new logo is confusing you (I don't blame you). The woman in the video says it, towards the end.

Wasn't her "overrated" comment about that other Liverpool band?
Not underrated. They play serious music for people who have good taste in music.

Good music is good music, Anathema as great band and the orchestra gives this song extra dimension.
That was a beautiful song. The voice and instruments blended together beautifully. Would like to hear more

One of the best song ever,EVER!
i like it, when the whole audience is singing along with the band. for a musician it must be a pure moment of magic.
Anathema is what God plays in the background as the souls transcend to heaven.
They have a female singer too and both together are great. Their music has a really chilled dreamy vibe and are just great to listen to.
