Bilal bhai you had a great trip of China.. I also had a China trip in aug and sept. I had different experience. Just want to add few things over here..
1) you can exchange your dollars at any bank. They don’t have any money exchange but they do it via banks. It hardly take 10-15 mins..
2) new generation of China can speak and understand English (mainland China ) otherwise you can use Translater apps.. keep in mind China is not a tourist destination
3) you can’t judge ppl from your past experiences. Learn about their culture as you are in their home so you to follow their culture and traditions. Presenting beer is regarded as good will gesture as we offer tea or coffee to our guests( keeping in mind, beer is not prohibited in their culture ) explain them that you don’t drink… for example , on my trip. My Chinese friend took me to noddles shop and ordered beef and mutton noddles. His understanding about Muslim food was that we don’t eat pork but he doesn’t had idea about halal way of slaughter. His assumption was meat is ok for us.
4) as they have better per capita income, they doesn’t invest on drinking water at public places because ppl can buy it. It’s easily to maintain cleanliness in public place .
5) wearing different dresses is their culture, we can’t comment on it. As in our villages , babay don’t wear shirts in summer and it’s ok . Same as in Europe , there are nude beaches. It’s their country and he have to respect their choice of dress.
There are many more points but still we have follow others cultures when we are in their country.
My visit to China was great. Learned lot of things. They are one of the best nation with love and respect for Pakistan
China is a big country and in some places people are not very clear about Muslim customs (less Muslims in the east), offering you alcohol or cigarettes is one of the ways Chinese people welcome guests, if you refuse, they will feel their enthusiasm is snubbed, in fact, you just need to tell them your habits and taboos, Chinese people will generally understand.😂
直接告诉对方自己不抽烟，不喝酒就行了。现在年轻人抽烟的比例非常低。

Most public toilets in our country do not provide toilet paper, but some public toilets provide toilet paper, but you need to brush your face to use it. The purpose is to limit the amount of toilet paper you use. Airport bathrooms provide free toilet paper, and free drinking water is also provided at the airport and high-speed rail stations. You can use boiling water to make instant noodles or coffee, and free hot drinking water and free toilet paper are provided on the train. Land routes are closed during winter. Suggest flying directly to the east. The transportation in the western China region is inconvenient, with low population density and high life cost. it's better to fly directly to the east.

During your travel i was also there in china, we visited urumqi, Guangzhou and Beijing i am a practicing muslim with big white beared but observed no discrimination towards muslims. We offered namaz in open, in market, in shops on airport and observed nothing adverse or suspicious attention. Rather people assissted us in doing so.
Only Uyghurs and Turkic groups are prevented from practicing their religion.
You Should not have done it. Always follow the rules of respected coutries.

Haha, I'm sorry you don't like us to bare our stomachs. This is the famous Beijing bikini!😛 I do this a lot, and it's really comfortable when it's hot. When a man has a bare belly, it's just not good-looking. There doesn't seem to be a particular reason for the government to ban it. The most important reason is that the Chinese are used to it and do not see it as a problem. Well, I'll try not to do that in the future😂😂

Most of public toilet do have the tissues, but you need to scan a QR code to get it. For the drinking problem, we consider sharing alcohol as a sign for friendship, and lots of Chinese have poor knowledge about the taboos of religions(cuz most of Chinese are authentic), so if u refuse a drink from them, they think u are looking down on them.
