Yep. I will definitely be doing a water change very soon. I took a nap a few hours after posting this video and came out to see the tank super cloudy for some unknown reason. It's always something with this hobby.🤷🏿♂️
Congrats, bet you're glad the worst is over. That red Goni is beautiful, that's one my favorite corals and I cannot grow them at all, tried many times and they all died within 2-3 months, I gave up.
Thanks! It has been a true nightmare just getting to this point. I hope that with a few more sizable water changes, I will be completely past this chapter.
Not to shabby man. Test your water and if parameters are correct, try 10% water changes every 2 weeks. Nows the time to stop messing around and let everything relax. Also, try and keep hands out of the tank for a bit as well. I’ve been in your shoes with this type of situation too - it’s hard to just let a tank “run” sometimes. Cheers 👍🏻🍻🤛🏻
Thanks for the encouragement and advice. I do tend to take my foot off the gas when it comes to maintenance. I have to do better. I just wish I could run the tank on cruise control for a year or so without an issue. Thanks again.
Hi. Yes I'm still using All For Reef. I just mixed up a fresh batch of it yesterday. I got the ICP results and it didn't show any abnormal levels. My conclusion is that it was a bacterial infection brought on by the stress of the heater malfunction. I really appreciate the feedback.👍🏾
I hope things return to the way the tank used to be.😊
Great job! Glad to see the tank coming back.
Thanks. I hope that I'm back on the right track.
Good news!
You worked hard to get things reversed, hoping things will continue to get better
👍👍👍💯
Glad to hear things are starting to look up Gwonk ! Hope things stabilize within the next few months
Thanks so much. I truly hope that I am through the worst of this. Thanks again.
🤞can't go wrong with water changes
Sailfin have some serious personality!
keep on keep'n on - sending you good vibes 🙂
