Beautiful garden! We're getting our vegetable garden going here in Missouri, and making videos to share it all. Looking to connect with other gardeners to learn tips and share how it all turns out! :)
Doc do you recommend any post emergent weed control in granular? Was looking at Anderson Surge but not sure it’s recommended for Bermuda. I’m a little intimidated by the liquid Dimension you recommend due to mix & spray. Thank you.
I would try non medicated chicken feed. All organic but still small particles so they can integrate into your soil much easier. Its what i put down in summer based on some older Doc videos. Compaction is only really going to respond to core aeration. This summer put out chicken feed and some dirt booster or humichar. Its what plants crave.
So i'm planting some banana plants and already got my dirt boost on the way and I got a bag of the black cow but I'm digging i decent size hole mixing all of it to compost where the plants are going is this a bad idea?

Those alfalfa pellets are intriguing as not that expensive. Any benefit for warm season lawns with poor soil or hard clay issues?

Only use a small amount. maybe 20% compost to the natural soil. After that top dress.
Where can I get the dirt booster? It’s coming up unavailable.
Production run will happen this week I think.
Hope u paying them guys very well.
I've seen cows laying around on compost piles when it's cold.
Why the clover seed?
clover is a nitrogen fixer, it adds a small amount of nitrogen to the soil
the granular industry is pricing themselves out of the market ...i use a backpack and liquid app..sometimes a perma green
I’m sure u find plenty of snakes in your field and garden.
None... surprising too. It's fairly open and LOTS of hawks.
