I would like to know if somewhere in this book the author interacts with the question: Is leisure at hand of people who strive dayly for survive? It´s a common thought that leisure is only possible when of all our basic needs are already covered.

If I recall correctly Pieper and Aristotle say leisure requires a certain amount of material wealth and comfort.
'tis a short book. give it a read.
