It was really sad Pixel Car Racer was finished. I remember getting an update on 2022 January and thought the game was going to unlock rivals and stuff just to end up not getting anymore updates 😢
The dev died as far as I know and that's why they stopped
I don't think he died. They would've announced it in their discord. And pixel car racer wasn't developed by a single person

Just to give some context, this game is far from release and still has a lot to of features to come.
For example,
Being able to own 100+ cars.
Drag tournaments
Story Mode
Multiplayer with cross play and private lobbies
Car restoration projects
Photo mode
Engine building
Barn Finds
Just to name a few.
Can't say for sure atm if this game will not suffer the same fate as PCR but within a few months this game has achived a lot. Hopefully your video will help give the devs the boost they need make this game as popular it has the potential to be.
Let's all hope it wouldn't have the same fate as PCR, such game with so much potential cannot be wasted
This game immediately seems to have more love in it. The details are better and the menu options are better In my opinion. So with that said hopefully they continue to show that level of love and it continues to improve

I hope they bring the ability to make a character. In PCR, I loved seeing my custom character behind the wheel

There's 6,500 language in the world and yet you choose to speak FAX
So I played this for a couple hours this morning. Solid attempt and I think with some quality updates to fix the bugs it'll be a great game. My car had to have 1700hp just to run a sub 9 second pass so I'm not sure how the power correlates to the time or what the actual distance is. Some of the parts are mixed up when looking at buying them such as you'll scroll through side skirts but the front bumper will change instead etc. Overall I like how everything is setup and it's very easy to get money and upgrades so it definitely has some enjoyment. Right now it's a solid 6/10 but with some good updates it can be right on track 👍
All the Cars are different
My Tokyo drift rx7 is 2060hp and runs 5.9 in the quarter and around 9.3 in the 1/2 mile.

@@willywilly1001 btw I just built a civic hatch. 1100hp and it going 15 seconds at 105 😂😂. Definitely doesn't add up at all
Same it's bulk shit I made a max weight reduction 1500hp plus Evo 9 and run something like 8.50s in 1/4 11.80s 1/2 at I still get gapped by the Ai the darkhorse race. Think I gotta figure out the gearing better but the cars seem so unbalanced I should be basically unbeatable at max build imo regardless of what car you started with
@@TheTyisawesome ya it's almost like the upgrades aren't actually doing anything for the speed of the car until you do certain things. My gt500 was running sub 9s, put every part off of it onto my civic including weight reduction that took the weight down to 850(1100hp) and it still ran a 15 second pass
I can't believe you remember the PC flash game Drag Racer lol. That was the stuff I played all the time. I played all three versions of it too.
Damn I completely forgot about pcr. Sad how the game didn't get enough love from the developers.
The dev for pcr passed away from Covid a few years back. Sadly they dropped it after that
Thank you @apexracer for bringing back and huge oart of the mobile racing community with a new and improved version of PCR. I refused to play any other drag racing game because I loved the Nostalgia feel and gameplay of PCR. This just gives me hope. One thing I would love is to have the same style gear shift and Guage display like in PCR
Yo slap def brought a core memory back to me. I spent at least 200 hrs on that old drag racing pc game. I was like 12 yrs old tryna hit top of the leaderboards😂😂 great times

There is a game called estilo br it has all the features that PCR has but better and actual real player races and good physics like doing wheelies if you have alot of power n rwd

Buy rwd cars with a wheelie bar n drag slicks it will give you traction n cool wheelie hehe n avoid fwd cars they get wheelspin like crazy n no power down so yeah if you are seeing this thanks.

Doesn't play well : it doesn't simulate actual gear ratios like the original PCR.
Also a Tip don’t waste the gold on the crate for cars do the parts one bc you can get legendary parts which you can’t buy in the store
its like a combination of CSR2 and Pixel Car Racer and Im hype for it

just so you know, the old mustang did have performance upgrades you just were in the wrong section. you didnt go to the shop. the game is actually amazing for the stage its in if you understand how it works
Apex race does look better then pixel, and i personally dont mine the slowness personally its quite realistic. But that gas, breaks and shifter ui is not good but hoping its still in development we can wait for updates improving the game.
It still is slightly buggy in parts and upgrades and money but all in all it’s a beautiful game and I can’t wait to see what happens with it
You made mistake by not shortening the gear ratio, all stock car have waaay to long ratio. By shortening it the car will have better acceleration for drag races
A little tip. Theres some "cheat codes" you can enter as a beginner that gives you tons of money and gold.

It is a bit laggy on my phone (Samsung Galaxy A12) even on low settings but still fun.

This game has major potential
If you go to tuning and then balance it shows maxed out downforce if you move the slider the other way the cars are faster.
This game is addicting. Already hit 600mph before falling off the freeway and hitting 1100mph.

Some times when you open the parts crate u could get some rare parts that aren’t available in the parts shop, because all of these parts i got 5.4 second skyline r34 in 1/4 mile

Slap you need to rev it all the way out till 8k and I recommend you lowering your final drive to be competitive
Engine upgrades, body kits, wheels, and liveries all have to be applied in garage after purchase
For a great launch u should put you're car in neutral rev then gear up
I play Apex racer for 2 hrs and i have 700hp Rx7 and i have 400+supra the game really suprising to me bc pcr the sound is basic doesnt sound good alot of option but apex racer is def the best

Yooo I’m back you have to actually take time and tune the car after upgrades😂😂to really make a difference
The agera is the best car I got a 5.303 1/4 time and a 8.404 1/2 time
You have to buy the parts in the shop and then put the parts on in the customization spot
And you can just hold the gas pedal and it gives you a better launch
I hope they add the burn out box, that was always my favorite

So I played with the game for a little bit and the big thing is fix the final gearing so it's not as slow
For a fast car pick the GTR R35 and upgrade it boom fastest car there
the saddest thing is that we never saw pixel truck racer and the story mode of pixel car racer. maybe someone in the future will find some copies of those and upload the apk on the net
since the original creators of pixel car seemingly abandoned the game. It's only reasonable for some one else take advantage of the gap in the market. I hope this project is more successful than pixel car.

The nos button doesn’t work for me. Yes I bought and installed nos. The daily rewards aren’t there. And at the top the screen it doesn’t show the track positions for racers
