Monica was never really able to come back. Certainly not to revisit the rivalry she had with Steffi. Mission accomplished for the bad guy. I think they're both happy now, and both out of competitive tennis a long time.
Steffi graf is a classy tennis player. she is very modest and very talented. I like her. she used to be good friends with gabbie sabatini but I think their rivalry strained their friendship but I do know they are both different but also both talented.

As I've said before, I am a fan of Tennis, not an individual. I am not prejudice against Germans. I'm married to a German woman, drive a German car, consider Boris Becker s great player. That said, Graf's status in tennis is tainted. All her wins after Monica was stabbed are questionable because Monica would have won several of those tournaments if she could have played.
Final comment on this subject. Graf was not pretty, far from it. She was no were near being considered the GOAT of women's tennis. Monica was the better player and was ranked number one at time of German stabbing her. Had Monica kept playing Graf would probable only won only half of the slams she won.
Undoubtedly the absolute BEST, 'n class player...her style, humbleness, athleticism ability to fly around is just masterclass...STEFFI is untouchable, unbelievable and ofcourse the unparalleled Tennis-DIVA...❤❤

steffi has 22 slams by the age of 30, Serena 23 slams at 35. steffi golden slam winner in one year. steffi goat.
