appreciate giving Dustin a shout at the end, event clearly meant a lot to him and he put in a lot of good work for that, thought those slides of the sponsorship offers were a joke, will not be coming to Australia to compete in a field for $5000. we've got a long way to go
This is simply soooo important for the future of our sport. Kinda sad to see the downfall in the last couple of years. I know there are people out there who know how to make an event like this run much smoother, have quality live streams and content, deliver on promises, and not make typos...
You’ve invested precious time, input, and the intent for them to just ignore you when all you/we want is transparency. Their coverage is subpar equivalent to thrash and the event commentary is tantamount to a child screaming on an airplane which is toxic to hear nonetheless. You’ve exposed the schemers wanting to scam everyone in the scooter industry. It's good that you are keeping tabs on this SB. We are watching.
I judged an ISA event in Kentucky once and she told a bunch of people that I was "drunk off my face" while I was judging - the twist is that she said this to emphasise the fact that I had my pants off under the table and was sitting in my 3/4 skins (long johns?). It was just really hot in there and I was on the waters lmao. Big Rob from Hang5Gear made her apologise to me. Such a G that guy.
This industry is driven by passion, blood, sweat and tears The ISF does not represent that, maybe back in 2013 but not anymore. There is no transparency or sense of trust between riders and the organisation and it needs to change, nobody but the community itself will be able to influence this sport like the ISF is claiming to do. Amazing work Brad and it’s refreshing to see and hear this kind of passion for the sport
The amount of money I spent just to get to two local qualifiers last year I didn't even come close to breaking even with one gold spot and one bronze, I sensed a lot of favoritism through both events.
I still remember circa 2009 being bummed when non-riders/parents started discussing how to create an ‘official’ organization to host competitions and award points for for a rider rankings system. It felt like the beginning of the end of a golden era. Not to say another golden era isn’t in the future. Keep the vids coming, Brad!
Well said Brad. Darren Hughes is the king of spin and the Kaz’s are his puppets. Unfortunately they are doing the scooter industry a massive disservice. It’s such a shame.
I liked at the end when you were talking about the ISF's content, it is always crap. I definitely agree that they should humble themselves and look at the great videos made by you and other creators.
I don'tknow if you want to hear this, but dude, you have lost weight, in an amazing way, I don't know if you were trying to better your life, but damn, you look good!
1200$ usd a month to ride a scooter would be so dope. i think that riders who dont make alot off sponserships should be using other ave to make money using that 1200$ a month to maybe help start it up. also 100k is not alot of money when hosting an events.
I couldn’t agree more brad i went to the united scoot qualifier in vegas and won a golden ticket and now by myself i have to raise thousands of dollars to just go compete to possibly win 1,500 like that’s not cool or fair they want to be for everyone in different countries but they literally have nothing to help riders get there
My comments keep getting deleted. We have amateurs running our sport. ISF has been bad since the beginning because MGP put a guy that they could control in their to run things, not because he was competent. Then he went and got a VP who was stocking shelves at a local supermarket. That’s our legacy. It’s a joke. While World Skate is light years better they still haven’t killed it either. They didn’t exactly hire the A Team for their scoot division and an invitational is not the way to have a world championship. So the jury is still out on them and what they can actually do for our sport at the end of the day, but they are clearly the best option right now.
Curious about having trouble with commenting - were you at the World Skate Games in Argentina? If you weren't in that conference room I can understand why you would hold doubt. But for those of us that were indeed in that room I can assure you that we are in much better hands with world skate org.
We can predict the future of scootering with only 2 Words.... World Skate.
Fuzion?

Very keen to hear about his experience and discuss how we can progress to a valuable level
it couldn't be MORE important to like and comment on this video - everybody that rides needs to see this

As a Rider at Havasu Last year and ate Dinner with the head lady I can confirm. She isn’t the brightest

Great to hear but not great to hear if you know what I mean. That blows, good to hear you speaking up for yourself.

2017 Mac Pro and the sponsor shirt with the scooter trick silhouette… epic

This is an important Video and really shows a deep inside of today’s struggle with keeping scootering relevant. Kudos to you mister Botterly Spradelei

The system needs attention that's for sure. I'm hear to echo your voices!
What happened to part trappers?
You know a companies evil when they sound straight out of star wars “international scooter federation”. Sounds as reliable than Prestige Worldwide
Ngl this reminds me of that document about making a new pepsi logo where they compared the earths gravity to the pepsi logo
They need to take an example of fise.
