@@Its.abhi.. yeah I am more interested in roce and roe of the company, these companies over long term should be a good compounder of wealth. Besides the upside in sales is high right now as India is underpenetrated in terms of music streaming.
@@Its.abhi.. also I missed one part, valuations, I think in those aspects is definitely orange or sometimes red for me, also tips might be the only pure music play where you can invest, considering t series is a private company
@@vishal-vealth-view yeah , t series is private. But it's still fucking up the scene when it's comes to ground level. Just be aware this industry is shitty. I haven't seen any good music brand surpassing T-Series. Not critizing tips here. Just want my brother to play safe.
@@Its.abhi.. Yeah, I agree, tbh I wish tips was trading at a PE of 30-40, that would be the comfortable position for me to buy, but from current levels as well I still see this compounding by atleast 20% in a single year, for a horizon of 5 years, since effectively they are buying 100-200 songs (that's their limit), and the investment amount is capped, and the cost to run company is the management fees and the the events that they have to organise to promote the songs. So all in all, I see a good business model at at premium valuation, hence I am slowly building positions and not being aggressive with it right now. But a question I always ask myself is what can go wrong with tips in 7 years, until this company is debt free I don't see a way in which the companies revenue to go away, growth might be stalled, but hard to imagine a case where it can be zero. Maybe an event like fraud and laundering can lead to this.

But that's the risk of equities. :)
