OKAY - I absolutely detest godawful white cabinetry!!! I want colored wood - blues, greys, greens, pale yellow (deep buttermilk tone) or natural/stained woods - teak, bamboo, cherry, hickory, oak, ebony wood, acacia, birch, ash, alder, mahogany, hard maple, walnut, zebra wood, beech, or red oak. I loved ALL the countertops in these kitchens and most of the backsplashes. I had 4 favorite layouts but don't remember the numbers. I'm saving this video for sure.
I totally agree. I think all white kitchens are boring. I like the ones you suggested. I think my favourite is light blue cabinets with dark blue marble or something similar countertops. I prefer my countertops to be darker than the cabinets. I would never do all white, but I love a pretty off white colour for cabinets and darker countertops. The first kitchen didn't even have hardware on their cabinets which makes it look cheap to me. I've seen pretty mint cabinets with dark brown countertops, too. Take care.
@L. Plantagenet I really love quartz and butcher block countertops. I actually like it when both are incorporated together in one kitchen. For me, the cabinet color sets the tonality and color of the countertops.
@@melaniefogarty858 those are pretty. I like butcher block especially on the island if someone has one. It can really warm a room up. I'm partial to marble (I'm referring to my dream kitchen here lol) especially dark marble like blue or green or something darker than cabinets. My sister and her husband have Benjamin Moore's White Dove cabinets and and white marble countertops. It's beautiful, but boring to me, but they were able to build their own home and do it the way they wanted so I'm happy for them. Anyway, I agree that quartz and butcher block are both very nice.
They all looked very similar and same old trends of last few years. Get with the program we are sick of these trends that are now outdated. Wood, colour, less open layouts, having storage you don't need to climb a ladder to access like a butlers pantry are where it is at.
Me, too. I also include copper in that mix because they need constant attention to keep their shine and so do some of the others. I just prefer plain old nickel.
Great Video. I'm sure the homeowners are happy, after seeing this video.
I don’t film homes people live in. I film decorated model homes
My favorite kitchen is # 8, it kinda has a butler's pantry. Love the video!!

I have a few other kitchen tours. I may make an all wood tone kitchen tour soon since a lot of people want to see them together.
@@DecorTours that would be fantastic, along with kitchens with color!

#1 was the only one with color or personality.
Thanks for watching!

Yeah I agree, I just film the homes and put the videos together. I don’t design them.
While they're all nice, they're all too similar. Kitchen no. 1 has a little more personality than the rest, but still...
It’s hard to find variety in these model homes.
@@DecorTours Same here. Thanks for the video.
I'm sure the owners are happy, but I wouldn't be. Cookie cutter design IMO. Sick to death of marble and black/brass taps.

Small pendants, dated backsplash- these dont look very 2023+
