Beautiful photography and editing at a great early evening hour. No need to go to Sevilla for their Semana Santa festival anymore! I know we in the States worry about the pointed hats as they remind us of the KKK but I remember reading that these go back to the Middle Ages. Hope to visit Old Town Alcudia soon as well as walk those famous wooden piers!

There’s quite a lot about these hats online, this is just a brief description.
A capirote is a Catholic pointed hat of conical form that is used in Spain and Hispanic countries by members of a confraternity of penitents.
