That sister calling dibs while she’s not even dating anyone is so selfish. Honestly, when she does end up getting married, wearing that dress wouldn’t feel good anyway because you would know you got it on unfair terms.
Kaiya Jones Honesly, it depends on when she called dibs. Like if she called dibs on it before her sister was engaged, it would be different than if her sister already started looking for wedding dresses.
Exactly besides her sister is getting married and wants that dress so couldn't the sister who is getting married just buy the dress and pass it down to the sister when she gets engaged!? The sister is so rude she is not even getting married and is telling her sister not to buy the dress because she wants to wear it
@Izzy Shepard if someone i know got pregnant before me and stole a baby name i was going to name my child, i would mad as hell and probably not talk to them. And what makes this worse is that my cousin copies me alot and steals my stuff, so that's why I'm keeping my favorite baby names secret.
She’d be best not set her mind and heart on a dress before being engaged because depending on where she gets married (ie destination) that dress might not suit also styles and tastes change...what’s trendy now or what she likes now may not be the tea in future.
She was wearing the hat weird, too. I've never seen an actually fashionable person wear it like that. She looks hella basic, tbh. Like, I could walk down the street and spot 10 people wearing similar clothes, minus the hat. But she does work for a stylist, so who knows.
I can understand how sisters might fall in love with the same dress but one might not get their sister's dream dress. Lots of times women don't want to wear the same wedding dress as others but if one is not even dating, i think it is a little selfish to keep the dress on dibs
Sell it or something or give it away to someone not as close to you as your sister around 50% of the people at her sisters wedding will also be at hers so the sister getting married 2nd will look like a copycat and a cheapskate
And by the time she wants to get married, she’ll probably want a totally different dress and her sister getting married here would’ve missed out on her dream dress :/
Depends on who found the dress first. If the younger one found it first and showed it to the older one, buying that dress would make the older one a downright bitch. I'm sorry. That's the gods honest truth.
I think it's really weird that the second bride's sister called dibs on the dress but she isn't in a relationship, she should let her sister get the dress. 😂🤔
Bonnie B-G she’s clearly jealous of her sister and put dibs on it to spite her lol by the time she gets engaged, there will be different trends and it’s not like she has even tried on the dress
They both want to same dress. It's both there dream dress. The sister is manipulative because she has dibs on a dress but not dating. That's stupid make it make sense people. The bride was right because once she hits a boyfriend this dress would be out of style
I'll be buying my wedding dress alone. Who cares what my family and friends think. The wedding should be the bride and grooms day. I'll wear whatever makes me happy.
Maybe just bring one person, like a close friend or family member. A lot of the time they can pick out a flaw that you can't. I initially went wedding dress shopping alone, fell in love with a dress, but didn't purchase it (couldn't afford it at the time). Went back about a month later with my best friend and she pointed out that the shape really wasn't all that flattering to my body. It definitely helps to have a second opinion. A lot of the times the sales ladies just want to make a sale, so they aren't completely honest (at least where I live). Especially if it's an expensive dress.
Tinymonster93 I wouldn’t buy it alone but if I fell in love with a dress and one of my family members said they didn’t like it I’d just be like “then it’s a good thing you won’t be the one wearing it!”
The sisters at war over the wedding dress reminds me of when my husband and I were expecting a baby girl and we picked out a name and his sister got mad and started crying because it’s similar to the name she had picked out for her future daughter keep in mind she is 16 and doesn’t even have a boyfriend 🤦🏻♀️
The other sister putting “dibs” on the dress is really childish and seems like she’s jealous of her sister getting married before she has or she’s used to being the family favourite and getting whatever she wants. Honey, you can put dibs on a dress when you aren’t even in the market of marriage; let your sister try it on. Besides there will be different trends by the time the sister choses to get married.
I know!!! Be happy for your sister! If I had a sister I would be so thrilled if she was getting married and gave me the honor to help her pick a wedding dress! If I had a sister like this bratty last one I would’ve tried that dress on first and said yes if i wanted it. It would’ve been my big day honey you can’t tell me what I can and can’t wear on my wedding!
Her calling dibs on it is so disrespectful!!! She knew her sister loved that dress and she wasn't even in a relationship. If I did that I would feel so bad afterwards and tell my sister she can have it and that I was sorry.
When the sister was like ‘I’m not trying to be mean’ I was like YOURE NOT BEING MEAN YOURE BEING REALISTIC the sister isn’t even in a relationship even if she called dibs by the time she’s actually getting married her mind could change completely
dont do that, she might be reading this, she looks sweet and truly exited for her sister (dont judge my spelling either, english is not muy first language)
Is it just me or is the first bride absolutely gorgeous? Like even when they just show her at the beginning in her normal clothes, the whole natural and down-to-earth look suit her so well and she has such a radiant smile.
Eztliz Is that supposed to offend me 😑 And we don’t use eBay, We use TaoBao in China. Also good for you cause even left overs from our clothing companies are high quality and look amazing.
It’s not supposed to offend you. But it can. I don’t care. I lived in China for 5 years, and that’s still where I work a lot. But there are many comically misspelled/emblazoned clothes available on eBay (when ordering from inside the U.S, NOT in China) And that’s what her outfit looks like.
It’s kinda rude to call dibs on a wedding dress when you’re not even in a relationship, if she was, that’s different. But she doesn’t have a boyfriend, and she’s taking away they joy for her sister to wear it on her day. Which is actually happening. It should be first come first serve
not to be mean but it's kind of selfish AF how the girl stopped her sister from getting that dress even though she's not even in a relationship, what if she never gets married ? or changes her mind about the kind of dress she wants by the time she gets to be married ? She would just have stopped her sister from a beautiful dress for no reason!
yonasco14 Plus, dresses like this are only sold for a few seasons and then rotated put for new collections. By the time the younger sister gets married, this dress may not even be available to her. It's better to use dresses like that for examples of style and not set your heart on a particular dress unless you are engaged and activly looking
Smacks more of jealousy and spite than actually wanting the dress, be blowed if I'd have backed down I'd have said " well I'll let you wear it when you get married " or just plain told her to get stuffed! How could anyone do that to their own sister?
yonasco14 They are both kinda selfish, The girl is what you just described but with her sister, she can just go shopping for wedding dresses another day. It’s her sisters big day and she should be more supportive rather then trying to take over the appointment, it just ain’t right or fair for the bride because she brings her family to help her pick, Not completely take over
I saw the full episode and the second bride didn’t get the dress her and her sister both liked, but she got a dress very similar, but it just didn’t have the crystals on the front.
You can't call dibs on a dress if you aren't getting married it's not fair!! The sister should support her and let her get the dress if she loves it as well she can just have it on her day and look just as stunning!!
@@jonquilgemstone The problem is she can't apply that logic, she wants it for herself so sister isn't going to try it, thus (eliminating the competition??) preventing anyone else from having it, but unless they COULD share it, as per the fathers solution, (which would be good for him, two-fer LoL) nobody might have it... some funny undercurrents going on there... The thing is so many other people, or some at least will also have the same dress, it's not one of a kind custom made, and it won't be a problem for her, she just doesn't want her own sister to have "her dress" and be happy, like that's what I don't get...
I did see the whole episode and the baby sister w/out a boyfriend was a spoiled daddy’s girl. Her older sister, THE BRIDE should’ve stood her ground & tried on the dress for comparison. What is this grade school?!! DIBS ON A DRESS??!!!! Even the father was an Arse and took the “not even a prospect of man in sight” sister’s side!!
The bride said they can share the dress... Wow.. Just get what you want.. By the time the sister wants to marry the designer will come up with other stuff too
I don't know but I always smile when she says "I like the buttery feel" And that dress gorgeous on her and it looks really great with the boots!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, who gives a crap what anyone else thinks. Who's wedding is it?? You like it I love it. Its your wedding, not mine. As long as you're happy! That's what should be said.
" focus on what Katie wants" Sister: Naw nope, no no NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Katie: but I like it Sister: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
If the sisiter really loved her older sister she would’ve let her at least try on the dress! She’s not engaged, she doesn’t even have a boyfriend and now she’s got dibs on the dress! That’s absurd, insane and stupid. I feel so sorry for Courtney, she looks so sad but she still cares about her sister and let her call dibs. If I was her, I would have slapped the hell out of the sister.
why on earth would you call dibbs on a dress when you're not even close to getting married and the dress might not even be available anymore when you marry, and your own taste might change, you might not even like it on yourself etc
the name of the episode is sister sister SPOILER: she did not even try it on as her sister did not let her. Therefore she chose a different one and said that it suited her better
Randy:"How can someone say dibs on a dress when they are not even engaged"......... WELL WELL..... I DID... A THOUSAND TIMES WATCHING THESE EPS.....when i am single.....hehe [nervous laughter]
My cousin picked out a wedding dress that is very similar to one that I would want for my wedding. She looked gorgeous and the dress is gorgeous and I’m not engaged, so I don’t mind at all. I think it’s like an honor to have helped her find a dress she loved
I loved my older sisters wedding dress and I actually plan to wear it if it fits within reason when I want to get married :-) it has beautiful blush flowers and embroidery and her wedding is almost the same vision I have.
Awwwwah that’s really sweet! I don’t think my little sister would wear mine (not that I’d expect her to) but if she asked I’d hand it her in a heartbeat. We’re 15 years apart though so by the time it’s her turn the fashions will change
The other sister putting dibs on the dress and not even having a relationship, or having her big day is honestly just so CHILDISH! Like she be ruining her sister’s day.
I hate people that just flat out tell people no, you can’t wear that. I’d tell them that’s it’s my wedding and I’m going to wear what makes me feel comfortable and I love.
When I saw the title I thought this was the episode where both sisters or sisters in law to be were both getting married but both had a limited budget. The first one found a dress she loved but it was just out of her range. The other one said to let her try it and see if it would fit her because then they could share the dress. The difference between the sisters in that episode and this is mind blowing
The employees are nice, very sweet.....I would be the worst because the employees also try to make the mothers, sisters, and friends happy but I would be like "........not your day, it's not about you....it's about her" and that girl who called dibs on the dress......I get the feeling that she's a jealous sister. If I were the employee I would try to convince her to at least try on the dress.
In 0:35, you can see that Katie is a simple bride. She’s the simplest bride that I have ever seen walking to Kleinfeld Bridal Salon for the fitting of her wedding dress. Dress # 1 looks beautiful and very stunning on her. She looks like an angel.
“I don’t want to sound mean but she doesn’t even have a boyfriend yet” shook me I was like “she has a point” if she doesn’t have a boyfriend yet and her sister is getting married 👰 she should get first dibs just saying you snooze you lose.....
God I hate ppl who say negative comments about a wedding dress and if it's the ppl u want to like it, than it'll just make u feel bad. That was a nice ass dress and the whole 'it's too low cut' thing is bull, it was elegant too. She's deffo gotta be jealous cause her sis got the looks.
I really have awful feelings around that sister.... 😒 She does not have a boyfriend we don't know the future... Why don't let your sister be happy.... That's awful
My mother and her two sisters shared the same wedding dress. They had it remade for each bride, changing the neck and arms for each in turn. The three wedding dresses were wonderful, the brides looked beautiful. I don't see what the deal is.
That sister calling dibs while she’s not even dating anyone is so selfish. Honestly, when she does end up getting married, wearing that dress wouldn’t feel good anyway because you would know you got it on unfair terms.
Kaiya Jones the dress might not be in fashion anymore
That and her mind could change

She doesn’t even have a boyfriend 🤣
how can the sister say she's a 'fashionista' when her outfit was ripped out of the target sale section
So do you only have to buy clothes from expensive name brand places to be one?
Excuse u what is wrong with the target sale section?
I've actually found some really great things on their sale racks 😁😁
So you have to have Gucci to be a fashionista?
TheSmirkingGirl6 that doesn't make any sense. U can wear anything and be fashionable. Cheap or expensive
just cuz you add a french hat and double chanel c's on your shirt doesnt make u high fashion.

I don't think that sister is "high fashion" lace for a wedding dress isn't anything groundbreaking...
struckanerve88 high fashion would be full blown bling not lace
She's also wearing a blocky horse necklace...
struckanerve88 Lace is classy and romantic, but definitely not high fashion.
anna conigliaro 'bling' is not high fashion. Tacky, no-knowledge and low-budget people think that bling equals fashion.

Aww yeah sad but funny cause it's not like you intentionally stole her idea, it just happened to be similar
She was just a 16-year-old...she will eventually grow up. This woman, however, is a grown ass adult! No excuses for this one.
She's also assuming the father will like the name and that it will sound ok with the last name. And kids often end up with nicknames

Just ignore the sister its her wedding not the sisters
Calling dibs while SINGLE af is pure selfishness & I do hope she backed off
" focus on what Katie wants"
Sister: Naw nope, no no NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Katie: but I like it
Sister: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Her sister tho.. she doesn't even have a boyfriend and she's calling dibs on her own sisters dream dress... jealous much? Just wow.
"I think it's a little unusual for a sister to call dibs on a dress especially you know if she's not even engaged"
....
Do you have siblings? 😂😂😂
I think the sister was being selfish she's not even dating anyone and it's her wedding she deserves the dress of her dreams
Even though she called “dibs” i would put on the dress and if I liked it I would buy it lmao.😂
Is she going to call "shotgun!" on the wedding limo too?
So all you gotta do is wear an ugly hat to be High Fashion? Sounds complicated
High fashion? Not in that outfit😂 just because you put random statement pieces together doesn’t mean it’s fashion
why on earth would you call dibbs on a dress when you're not even close to getting married and the dress might not even be available anymore when you marry, and your own taste might change, you might not even like it on yourself etc
I loved when the first sister said what she thought her sister would want and then the sister comes up and says the exact same thing
Why even watch if this is just the beginning of the show ? Where is part 2 which shows what dress they picked ?
Donna Manitu came to the comments to see if anybody had a link lol
Season 8 episode 4
the name of the episode is sister sister
SPOILER:
she did not even try it on as her sister did not let her. Therefore she chose a different one and said that it suited her better
OMG the freaking sucks, like wtf

I hope that sister finds a husband after that dress goes out of style, because it's 2020 and I'm pretty sure it has...
Im not sharing no dress with anyone. Either its mine, or no one's that I know. My wedding my dress, ur wedding ur dress, but Im not sharing anything.
Yeah same the only thing I would do is if my future daughter likes the dress and wants to get married in it cause hey, Savin money hell ya 😂
These kind of videos are the reasons why I am thankful that I have a brother
A god damn hat doesnt mean your 'fashionable'.
Aww she and her fiance are adorable. Like fact that she is a cow girl and meet her husband through her brother is so cute. I wish them the best💙
I'm a boy watching this, 14 years old, should I stay or should I gtfo?
Original Limz It's the 21st century. Do what you want. ;)
My 20 yrs old brother often watch the show with me. I don't see a problem.
Thuy Le Oh alright thanks
Original Limz lol same
Stay were cool
Original Limz stay it’s cool here lol
"her sister is definitely high fashion..." Is she though? lol
Randy:"How can someone say dibs on a dress when they are not even engaged".........
WELL WELL..... I DID... A THOUSAND TIMES WATCHING THESE EPS.....when i am single.....hehe [nervous laughter]
Underrated comment!
(Also, we have all been doing this, so don't feel bad.)
That first dress on the first bride was absolutely gorgeous
Ok get the dress you want your sister isnt in a relationship and its your wedding dont be dumb and regret it later
The first bride is amazing! So independent & she already owns her own farm.
With how much this show gets after every candidate I think the dresses could be given for free 😂😂
My cousin picked out a wedding dress that is very similar to one that I would want for my wedding. She looked gorgeous and the dress is gorgeous and I’m not engaged, so I don’t mind at all. I think it’s like an honor to have helped her find a dress she loved
It's YOUR dress, YOUR wedding, what are you doing allowing your sister to dictate????
That sister is so kind and loyal not trying on that dress but the other sister who called dibs is just selfish
Nobody:
Katie’s sister: aM A wiLd ChiLD
The first dress looks so beautiful on her.. she's so gorgeous
I kinda loved the satin on her. She's so beautiful and classic so I think it goes well.
Katie is so pretty her smile is her best feature it iluminates her whole face and she looked gorgeous on the first dress
My mom and her sister shared their wedding dress and nobody was affected 😂.
I hate people that just flat out tell people no, you can’t wear that. I’d tell them that’s it’s my wedding and I’m going to wear what makes me feel comfortable and I love.
Too early for good comments, I'll come back later. :--(
Hania Raś this one was pretty good lol
Hania Raś hill
Jkk
Hania Raś truuuuuu
She's deffo gotta be jealous cause her sis got the looks.
where can i watch the full episode?
the first one made her look so good 😍
The girl in he background at 2:40 😂
2:02 omg I thought she said “my fiancé is my brother” and I started freaking out and had to rewind it haha
My mom and her sister wore the same dress without changes other than taking it in for #2 bride.
