Not really 2000s music, this song more of reminds me of the 1960s, with its hippie-style instruments and music video, which animation looks a lot like the music video of Yellow Submarine by the Beatles, which ruled pop music in the 60s.
I just recently heard this song for this first time and i love it so much, played just dance 3 today and saw it had it! It was so fun to do this dance lo.
When we had choice PE day in elementary school we had a Wii hooked up to a projector and 4 Wii remotes. The only game we could play was just dance and there was always a few songs we couldn’t play. But this one was everyone’s favorite. People loved the Wii so much we had some little mat spot things on the floor that were in 4 rows of 4 spots. The rule was who ever was in the second row behind the first (who were playing) they got to play next and once they moved up to their spot everyone moved forward, you also had to dance while waiting. But sometimes you’d go 3 rounds of change with this song still being played. This and Istanbul were the main songs in rotation cuz they were some of the only family friendly songs they let us play. Then one day someone must’ve snitched or maybe the PE teacher finally actually listened to the song and heard the innuendos in the song, because all of a sudden it was banned from choice day. Kids were in an uproar, but our PE teacher stood firm. After that day me and a handful of other kids stopped playing the Wii during choice day. Sad times indeed 😢. Still my favorite just dance song, I can’t listen to this song normally without doing the dance moves along with it.
my mom was like "this song is inappropriate" and i was like "literally how this is so childish" and now that im no longer 5, i understand where she was coming from 😭 wild as shit

Okay, I had just dance 2016 and I remember this song a lot differently, like the male voice was a lot deeper or something (maybe something was just wrong with my console but idk what's going on)
