Because of the type of music he makes people don’t appreciate his vocals enough. He doesn’t strain or scream, he sings so beautifully and hits notes flawlessly. He and Zayn are ones of the best male vocalists of their generation and no one can tell me otherwise.

If Liam has the chance to be a part of the writing on lp2 he’s gonna be fkn unstoppable. We know he wrote most of the songs in 1D, and his voice is so powerful. He’s one of the most talented people, so I really hope he gets a chance to shine soon.

Why he wouldn't be a part of writing one of his own albums? That is very rare in modern music.
@@Otto500206 at first he wasn't sure if he wanted to put out his own music and wanted to be behind the scenes more after 1D. Then Ed Sheeran wrote him a song that is "Strip that down". Liam still said he felt unsure about in what direction he would be going, so he let his team do that for him. In an interview on a podcast in i will say 2020 probably, he said himself that he was send mostly sexual songs, when he himsefl doesn't think of himself as that much of a sexual guy. So i guess he was just scared and let his people just do more for him. He said himself that he wrote like 30 songs himself and only 4 that he written on made it into the album. Plus, another 4 songs he has written on were put on bonus track japan version for lp1 which isns't available on any streaming platofrms. I suggest you check out "before it ends", "hurting me", "trouble" and "nobody else". he wrote all of those, but his team didn't let it put anywhere but on the japan version of the album.
