@@knobsswitches It is true. I am watching demos in different channels about this synth and always is the same. Your demo is different (at least) for me. I am thinking in this case con Antonus (clone) 2600. Do you know this model?
Hi! Thanks for the great demo! I really enjoyed the music! I love the duophonic @13:35 is that possible with midi do you know? Are you using CV from Keystep for this? Thanks again gr8 video!
Just found your review of this great synth. Here's my question: I have a Eurorack modular set-up and am wondering if the 2600 could be sequenced by it. Specifically, could it be sequenced by a module such as the Mutable Instruments Marbles, without passing through a CV-to-MIDI converter?
if you have tons of modules, you probably don't need an ARP2600m. I really like it because the sound is unique and the handling is just great. you can quickly get great results without patching and then really step on the gas with the help of additional modules. In my opinion, it enriches every set-up. But that is of course always a matter of taste
No. I would say it‘s the same! I did not played the 2600FS yet, but I had the original 2600. And for me it‘s definitely the same sound aesthetic and spirit
The whole thing about reissuing but only in small batches is really annoying. Just when you get enough money to buy it, the thing you want is sold out. Pfff.
Love your videos! The level of details is astonishing. Please, keep it coming.
I´m flattered. Thank you. Of course there is more to come. Stay tuned
That yaz bass was amazing
best 2600 video demo of this platform.
Thanks a lot. I´m flattered!

@@inanesilence yes, a friend of mine has the Antonus and the Step Brother as well. We are planning to compare them
@@knobsswitches that would be amazing…
Totally agree with your review. I own the Odyssey and MS20 fs but I prefer the 2600m instead of the fs.
MS20 has better bass and low end however
Nice opening to video!!!
Thank you very much 🙂

Do you have any tutorial videos for the Arp 2600 M by any chance?
hi, not at the moment. There are a lot of reviews in the pipeline ;-) Why?
What do you have against David Bowie?! (Badgeless White Stylophone 😉)
@@kierenmoore3236 😂 hahahaha, no I love Bowie. It‘s actually an older version without the Badge :-)

as the internal standard voltage of the 2600m has been reduced from 10V to 5Volt, Eurorack compatibility is now given. I use a RYK-M185 sequencer.
Is this worth buying if one already has tons of Eurorack and other synths like Elektron gear?

I remember the old Arp2600 in your old studio!
Yes, those were the days ;-)
hey , can you take an external lfo to modulate some stuff ?
i´m just asking coz the moog matriach cant handle this.
Yes, i used the Sine Wave of the Matriarch LFO to PWM the 2600m. The 2600 accept 5Volt Signals!
@@knobsswitches ok thx :)
might this sound superior to the 2600 FS?

Where do I get an odyssey t shirt?
I bought it on the Musikmesse in Frankfurt when the Korg/ARP Odyssey was released back then. May you ask Korg if they still available.
40:40 Definite Reznor vibes here.
of course 🙂
Where do you get the light up patch cables.
www.producertools-hardware.com
have you maybe tried behringer 2600, wonder how they compare and is korg version worth almost three time the price
I have not had the opportunity to compare the two yet
nice Behringer 2600👍
Not behringer lol

true. you can now collect your money for the Korg PS3300FS 🙂

I stupidly sold my Kong ARP ODYSSEY thinking it would be around til I could repurchase and boom, gone. Not to be the case with 2600m. Chefs kiss.
