Ride on the Loneliest Road in America

Just going for a ride on US 50, "the loneliest road in America", from April 2018.
This is an amazing drive, if you ever get a chance to drive it do! Bonus, near the western end is Virginia City, a wonderful real old wild west town.

The 'loneliest' stretch, in my experience, is beyond Austin and Ely, to & beyond the NV-UT stateline on to Delta, UT (particularly that last stretch).
It's hypnotizing - and not in a good way especially because you're behind the steering wheel.
Otherwise, I've found it refreshing and relaxing to drive long stretches like this through Nevada.

Very beautiful! Reminds me of the Aussie outback, but... higher :)

From what I know of the Aussie outback it's probably more crowded too, there are at least two houses in this video.
