Serious questions here: Can someone please tell me if Pystrance is like a cult of sorts? It seems kind of like a musical cult. I don't want people trying to brainwash me with this music & some weird drugs. Also, are there any good dancers at these events? Are there any black people that go? How is the smell out in the crowd? I'm a city boy, so wondering if I should bring a mask or something if there's a lot of BO? I will say one thing....y'all got the visual artistry stuff down. No denying that. A lot of patience and hard work, it looks like. Nice big ass Funktion 1 rig too. The lighting design looks dope. I kinda wanna go just to see that.
I recently met this beautiful Italian actress - that wants me to go with her, she bought my ticket already....but I'm nervous. I told her I'd go, but I didn't know it was all psytrance. Is there anything else, resembling Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop..Jazz, or even Chicago House or Detroit Techno? It looks a lil crusty to me, nonstop trance for multiple days? I went to Burning Man, and don't mind the elements...but it was easy to get away from people if you wanted to...so funky stankin hippies were tolerable. How about here? I'm not seeing many black folks, which there doesn't seem to be any at trance events I've seen. Why is that?
Black folk used to take a lot of acid back in the day...at the Loft & Garage in NYC, & the Music Box in Chicago....put it in the punch bowls. So, it's not that we scared, or haven't had it in our own dance music culture. I think it's the type of music. Been looking to see if there are any black trance music producers, but I don't really see any. I'm just curious, cuz thought there might be some crossover music with different basslines, or that isn't 145 BPM? That shit is too fast for me. The place looks beautiful, but the music might get to me after awhile. Any input is appreciated. If you see me, please say hi...It should be pretty obvious who I am I'd think. Thank you. Peace
