Can Egypt’s ambitious artificial river project not only secure its future but also solve the growing water crisis in a fragile world, or will it spark new conflicts over precious resources?
@@ExtremeBuildsYT The project is in Egypt for Egyptians so there should be no competition for resources. However, it would be best for Egypt 🇪🇬 to focus on replacing food imports rather than producing for the export market. They should build food reserves of cereals of 7 years at a time like the Ancient times of the Pharaohs. Then Egypt will become a food secure nation.
Absolutely, the potential payoff is huge. But do you think the environmental risks and possible tensions with neighboring countries over Nile water could outweigh the benefits in the long run?

California's Salton Sea 🌊 2.0. There are no down stream nations from Egypt 🇪🇬. Egypt is the last nation on the Nile and the other Nile Nations are upstream frim Egypt 🇪🇬.
Technologically it might be possible . However , Egypt doesn't contribute a drop for Nile from its own territory . In other words the whole water that flows to Egypt comes from Nile riparian countries especially Ethiopia. Ethiopia advocates fair and reasonable usage. So Egypt's hegemony is being challenged by Nile riparian countries . So diverting Nile and such a huge project that envisages more more watet from upstream countris is unacceptable and is a real source for disagreement in the region, especilly with Ethiopia. ✌️🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹
What do you mean with "fair" and "reasonable usage"? You probably have no idea what is going on there, especially with the source of water for the new river.
This video is stupid. Egypt doesn't have downstream neighbors. It has upstream neighbors and them building dams is the concern in Egypt. The video got it backwards.

There is no 1 down river from Egypt. Ethiopia & Sudan are upstream. If they say we are going to use the water here then this project is over .think usa using the Colorado river 100% therefore stopping its flow into Mexico.

This is the reson for the fight over nile water with Ethiopia
This project is long overdue. But it may lead the seawater getting into the real delta region of the Nile.
Thy shul protect the delta region by water barrier
Which Nile? Not the River Abay a. k.a Blue Nile.
You are funny!
Ambitious and extremely costly, but if successfully pulled off will pay off greatly

Ay im from maldives
Why is Egypt complaining about the Ethiopian Dam and lack of water when they have plenty of water to build the Longest river in the desert?
