To do something different you have to walk alone. Not only is it ironically the name of his most recent project, it is also a motto Rich Neph lives by. The twenty-four year old Flint native has that classic Michigan grit in his sound but masterfully navigates the more melodious side of his sound with ease. Coming from a hard life, the street stories are nothing new to him, but his lyricism paints vivid images for his listeners as he brings them into his world for two to three minute bursts. Even though he learned the ropes of his life and the music industry alone, he is more aware than any average up- and-comer you will find today.
