If am not mistaken battlecry basically to cover the grunt for the attack since your character basically grunt when attacking and not when fainting and spamming battlecry basically cover it up making faints hard to read sometimes
I really don't get why these players haven't moved on from this game. Like okay, Stouty has his coaching income, but what's keeping poge and others? This game is literal pain and suffering on the higher levels (video is convincing enough ), why keep coming back to it? What kind of sick stockholm syndrome is this?
Looking at it might be pain, but actually playing it is in fact rather chill once muscle memory is in, it's mostly a matter of mind games plus the "dancing" (movement is hella important, even more so at this level, even thought it doesn't really show on screen)

You can find toxic smurfing poge (who apparently screams constantly now) who'll steal all your MMR since he has such a good ping, you can find infamous RedBlue, bear and that's just people you could recognise from stouty videos

No joke feinting need a cooldown imo or way heavier stam drain. A 5-10 second timer till you can feint again would be justified. This feintspamming is unrealistic, broken as fuck (especially stab feints) and requires no skill at all to perform. I wish that swing manip would play a bigger role...
the problem is most weps are too slow to punish feints, hence why I play warhammer/falc. Watch how I play, if I read the feint they get punished with a left overhead
@@Stouty No doubt about it, you are incredible at the game. I am now lvl 186 and still struggling against lvl 200+ players and the constant feintspam or nearly unreadable actions. I find it really hard to enjoy Mordhau when the only thing I do is getting destroyed by these dudes you know? And I will definetly try warhammer as well in the future. ^^
@@Stouty i didn't understand the point of using shield in this game, the only point i found is to hide your wharammer animation, that's all, you can't sustain parry you can't parry more than one hit everytime so yeah basically using shield in this game is just to make worst one handed animation in my opinion

This is why mordhau could never have been considered competitive, The balance between offensive and defensive is to great so you end up with a game that is just spam.
Ye this is why chiv 2 is better imo. Theres no slow sword exploits so every battle is a neutral riposte battle until someone loses from getting stammed. So fun :^)
