Steam Brute 2-6-6-2

After 2-8-0 734 was retired in 2016, the Western Maryland Scenic Railway was diesel-only. However, after a multi-year restoration, former C&O 2-6-6-2 1309 brought steam back to these historic rails. This past weekend, I headed over to Cumberland, and chased this Mallet-type steam engine up to Frostburg and back. It's amazing watching the brute stretch its legs!

I truly appreciate all of the efforts you put in to making this video. I took my wife and kids on this train years ago when the kids were young. They are all out of the house and have kids of their own now. I will share this video with them which will result in a renewed effort on their part to get us all together and to ride this train once again.
