Seth Rogen - A Guest Voice on Transit

- Want to know what would make public transit even more awesome? - Seth Rogen! That’s right, the Vancouver-born actor, voice actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director has donated his time and love of Metro Vancouver and TransLink in the form of public announcements on our system! In the coming weeks and into the Fall, Seth Rogen’s distinctive voice (and laugh) can be heard on SkyTrain platforms, SkyTrains and buses across the region. Seth will be tackling transit etiquette as well as interesting tidbits about Vancouver and his relation to it.
If you don’t already know, Seth grew up in Vancouver using our public transit system and still does so today! We were overjoyed that Seth wanted to help make the customer experience on transit better…and funnier! We’re also stoked that this idea of having Seth be the guest voice on transit came from our followers on social media and that we were able to make it happen.
Thank you, Translink - this is a great thing to pick up the spirits of the locals and have some local pride at the same time.

PS - Seriously I love this idea but get that subway to UBC built...not just to Arbutus...and out to Langley as well. :)

They were complaining on the radio about this in Toronto, they want to use his voice over the TTC and people are going 'he's not even from Toronto' who cares really put his voice over the airports all over Canada for all I care
You mean Vancouver people were complaining; this is a very minor event in Toronto and getting little coverage. Even those who know who he is likely didn't know where he came from.

Varick.. what do you mean? I've not heard even one person downtown mention it. I don't think people hearing the announcement either know who it is or particularly care who Seth Rogen is. He seems to have an obsession with people who clip their nails, which is about the lowest complaint on the scale that I would bother to get upset about in this world.
