Hey, Paul thanks a lot, man. What's going on? No I just wanted to show in case there was any negativity or bad thoughts about the ghost ... that there is people out there making headway with it, the more options the better for the Racer.
I just upgraded my Patroit to the V2 with the upgraded tranny. I see it eliminated the tranny spacer, but it sure moved that spur closer to the rear arm. Did you get the same results?
If you are using 1° toe. Yes, it is still closer to the spur. If you use the 2 degree placement of the toe block, it moves the toe block back. Giving you more room for a larger spur if you like. I use 1° toe with a 90.26.
@powermadracing5116 I had a 92/28 before I changed everything and had too much wheel speed because they went to dry tire at this indoor track I run at. Now Im 90 /28. Lot's of rain here so I got to find a dry tire tune. I already know I got to take a lotta power out this motor. This Volta motor is a beast!
@@fredericktodd5789 That's a perfect call to slow down the wheel speed. I can tell you on my dry tire car set up.I basically have motor timing at 5°.Maybe another 5 or 10 Boost at most, depending on surface. The rest is all Turbo if you're running an R1ESC. The key will be in the throttle curve.
@powermadracing5116 What spring set up you running? I have the stock springs. Im thinking they too light in the rear. I think the stock rear is like 4 lbs. Car is bunny hopping off the line. I just broke an outdrive couple hours ago. So its on the operating table right now
@@fredericktodd5789 It comes with green in the back and black in the front. Black, as 10 pounds green is 7 I went up to the chromes and the rear 8 pounds worked much better. Try lowering your Willie bar too. Sometimes it hits the bar hard if it's high... stores energy and then unloads and causes the tire Get unhappy. Lastly, what is your weight front percentage? You wanna run at least 45% on high traction....
Great coverage! Ya'll deal with some fast and furious drivers! As always, thanks!!
