It's not just Charm her W will also prioritize the enemy champion if you hit them with just an auto attack.

One thing you forgot to mention is that Ahri´s W also priorities enemies she recently autoattacked, allowing for a nasty level 1 trading pattern: auto + W + auto will procc electrocute, easily chunking your opponent. I am currently picking up Ahri and having a great time, but I also know the pain of landing the most insane charms and then missing the easiest ones imaginable (2:17) xD

Sadly I only ever make these 3 minute guides, I feel like there's a lot of longer guides out there for the champions already so it's pretty diluted!

1:24 I play Ahri and not once have I felt playing against Corki, Syndra or Ziggs was easier than Sylas, Swain or Diana. In fact, it is the other way around for me.
That is strange! Against immobile carries you should just be able to hyper push out the wave and play as an assassin, if you're struggling you may be leaning into her mage side and playing her as such rather than playing her like the assassin role!

Her problem is she is super team dependent. She can't solo carry game: her skills AP scale is mediocre and she hates CC so much, and if your team decide to fool around you will lose the game. Therefore Ahri is unbelievable good on high elo and pro games and hell to play in low elo
