We have seen BS gaslighting like this before ... look up "Two Jews Infiltrate Anti-Jewish Conference".. the man goes to AIPAC conf and confronts people outside protesting wanting a convo only to say pretty much meaningless crap.. he acts like both sides equally suffer.. again a gaslighting technique many wifebeaters tell themselves... RUdy just wants you to not be so upset as your home is bulldozed and you are thrown out your house and rendered homeless.
@@jimmydean3961 It isn't gaslighting, he is hearing the other side but also talking about his side. Only by understanding both sides can they move forward. You also have to understand that the treatment of the Palestinians by the Israeli government was caused by anti-jew rhetoric caused by the Arabs in the past (the wars and all the anti-jew propaganda based on "The Elders of Zion"), but does it make the current actions of the Israeli gov right? no it does not but it is understandable.
I'm half Palestinian and I do agree with peace I hope there is peace but for us Palestinians it can sometimes be hard to accept after all we've been through, being oppressed for 73 years and getting kicked out of our homes in 1948
@Adam Eliasi yes most ran away. My grandpa didn’t run away but they negotiated with the Jewish army so they can go through the village but not to destroy homes and property. Tira was saved, no home was destroyed. But those who attacked they got their homes destroyed. Only in big cities like Jaffa, Haifa and Akko there were some people who were kicked out of their homes. Why? Cause they lived around Jewish people so they were kicked out. But this is minority around 30% of refugees. Most were from small towns or villages who attacked and their homes were destroyed.
@Adam Eliasi well in these times (today) no one would be expelled from his home for that reason, back then Jews couldn’t trust Arabs so those who lived in Jewish areas of cities like Haifa or Jaffa were kicked out. In bigger towns near the coast there was less fighting. I’m saying around 30% I might be wrong it’s just estimated number don’t take it as a factual, maybe it’s 20% idk. But we agree that most just ran away cause it’s a normal reaction when you see multifront war . Some ran away from the Jews (cause they were afraid just from them), some because they didn’t want to be caught in crossfire. My grandpa didn’t care who will be in control - he didn’t want to leave his home. And I’m glad he stood up. I’m very happy that both sides talk to each other and are open minded people like me. We have to find the things that connect us rather than those which divide us. We are connected by heritage (Semitic people) but religion dividing us. Overall in my opinion religion should be a private matter of the individual, there’s enough land for both of us to live. We are not a population of Bangladesh for example, overall we are less than 20 million . The most difficult matter is Gaza and those who rule it. Those should go away but still people there are even more hateful to Israel - cause they were suffering because of the stupid decisions of Hamas that they put blame on Israel. So Gaza people will need more time to be more open minded unfortunately. We have to be patient, time can slowly heal us but there should be no more rocket attacks, which is the most difficult issue.
Israelis do everything in the world to copy the Palestinians. Their food, music, language (25% of modern Hebrew is Arabic) dance, culture and of course their land.
As a Jew, I get emotional and hopeful to see Arabs and Jews sitting together in peace, talking and sharing ideas in a civilized way. We need to see much more of this.
Arabs and Jewish people have never hated each other. Christian, Jewish, and Muslim Arabs lived in Palestine for centuries in peace. Arabs condemn Zionists.

Not only considering it is a palestinian-israeli conversation but in general. No interrupting. They are truly and deeply listening to each other. At least there are great people like you fighting for that
You should read the book 'The Israeli lobby and US foreign policy' by John J. Maersheimer and Stephen M. Walt. Very good book to understand the US's perspective on Israel and how it really hurts them in a way.
Duh lol. Devil is in the details. I want to hear the conversation straight from the sources and from both sides not just the narratives of the US, Palestine, or Israel alone. I want to hear it all and make my judgments based on hearing it all.@@JNAMOTORSPORTS

At about 19:00 the Palestinian Christian guy (I forgot his name) made an important point. He has Israeli friends, so he knows that not all Israelis want Palestinians to suffer. The more these two populations meet, the more likely peace will be.
I think you are correct. It's hard to hate a population when you have friendships within that population. Alienation from each other is the cause of much of these conflicts.

Politicians are the reasons for war and divided. I’m still educating me on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict however from an outside perspective and also of what I’m seeing here in the US is this. You have two culture with a history of fighting eachother and have been taught to hate eachother by those in power pulling their strings for political and financial gain. I'm an Israeli on the verge of leaving my homeland because of frustration with this conflict. I have been to war over this land, I've lived side by side with Arab Israelis, I've served with fascist and liberal jews alike and have been taught at school by religious Jews and Israeli Arabs and throughout my 25 years of living not a single person around me has expressed this much hope in peace for this land and the people within it like these three at 39:50 - 42:59, I am literally holding back tears . There will be no peace in our land as long as we are divided and are being manipulated by foreign powers trying to keep their influence in our territories. We are all victims of western racism, Jews and Arabs alike, and the first step towards a peaceful life for all of us is recognizing we have more in common with each other than with the US/UK/RS or any other body trying to mine our society for material/intellectual gains. No one is going anywhere and they don't want to help us, we only have each other so we better start working together to benefit whoever is actually living here instead of giving all of our resources to the US in exchange for military aid which only propagates more suffering for us.
I love this! True and honest conversation without being agressive. We need more people to come together like this. i'm Israeli and i live in the "west Bank" and i had amazing conversations with friends who are arbs , and it was eye's opening for both side's. Its wasen't about changing each other prospective, it was just about knowing more , feeling empathy and find the basic things that are hurting both side's.
I enjoyed this. Although, there are many more well educated on the specifics of Palestinian History youth that could’ve been chosen to debate and talk on a perspective coming with much more objective and quantitative facts. You can see the three Palestinians are a bit emotional, but they held their ground well and expressed the points well while also pointing out the problem with the opposition. As a Palestinian I feel like hearing the points Israelis make while watching Israelis hear a Palestinians perspective is very productive dialogue.
Hi Sabrena, hope you're doing well. One of the points raised in the discussion was the futility of the two state solution, and that a one state solution may be better for both groups. I believe the Israeli side mentioned that they would be happy to include those in the West Bank and Gaza as full, equal citizens, and Rudy said that regardless of the name of the state, that it would serve the interests of both groups. Would you accept a plan in which Israel were to annex the West Bank and Gaza Strip, grant each Palestinian equal and full citizenry, and remove checkpoints/IDF patrols from these areas?
This is such a good discussion, reasonable, intelligent & informative for an outsider like me. This should be shown to young people. Love & forgiveness is easier said but with prayer & good works comes the “mighty change of heart.” My father was murdered, my sister was raped, I thought I would feel so much hate but I truly believe that the peaceful reassurance that all will be well comes from a greater power. 💕
This was such an interesting conversation, I would really love to hear more like this happening. It would also be great to see this group meet again for a new conversation post 7.10. Rudy and Amir look very similar as though they could be siblings. I feel like the two of them should team up in their activism, they are both very bright young men and I wish this whole group well.
This is so valuable. Thanks for doing this work. The man in the light blue shirt is sometimes aggressive and rigid, like if it is his forum or classroom. The point that you have to accept others' perceptions, you can't discount someone else's experience of suffering, it, is important. It's strange when the blue-shirted man tells the Palestinian that his suffering is in his thinking.
It shows how deep their brainwashing actually is. They admit it themselves, they view themselves as the oppressed despite being an occupying force. I also don't know why there was no mention of the Israeli settlements?? The guy in the blue shirt was so pro one state solution and talked about how all the land must be accessible to the Jews - I want to know how he feels about the settlements

I think your problem is that you see is real today as just a small United States in the Middle East where you see the Israelis drinking alcohol smoking weed going to strip clubs all westernized and modern in your point of view about being a Palestinian Muslim is one where those two things can't mix and at the end of the day that's a your problem because most young Palestinians will they be Christians or even Muslims they're not real Muslims they don't really care though have a smoke go have a drink they like to go out and have fun in other words it doesn't matter whether you're Jewish Israeli or Palestinian Christian or Palestine Muslim most of them in the new generation are secular if you're one of those hardcore religious people then you should leave Palestine and go to Mecca that's a better place for you

I think it shows all of as a pattern how to move on from a world system, from world views which is not working anymore toward a new one, where we can have a mature existent - with our self and so with other human and not human beings.
Im Palestinian and this is sooo motivating soo positive it actually made me feel happy and hopeful i was so angry now i just want peace for both of us
We have seen BS gaslighting like this before ... look up "Two Jews Infiltrate Anti-Jewish Conference".. the man goes to AIPAC conf and confronts people outside protesting wanting a convo only to say pretty much meaningless crap.. he acts like both sides equally suffer.. again a gaslighting technique many wifebeaters tell themselves...

As an Iraqi I love this
Same
You like that Israel is building illegal settlements? What's wrong with you?
@@ciaronsmith4995 No the talking about peace, ill never support those settlements
@God Syria and Iraq are the best!
@@ciaronsmith4995 Building a room inside your house is illegal?
Where did you get that idea from?
I enjoyed this. Although, there are many more well educated on the specifics of Palestinian History youth that could’ve been chosen to debate and talk on a perspective coming with much more objective and quantitative facts. You can see the three Palestinians are a bit emotional, but they held their ground well and expressed the points well while also pointing out the problem with the opposition. As a Palestinian I feel like hearing the points Israelis make while watching Israelis hear a Palestinians perspective is very productive dialogue.
Ofcourse it is, discussions always go great when both sides are actually listening to the other. Godspeed
This is the type of dialogue Palestinians and Israelis need to have without Hamas or the Israeli Government speaking on behalf of civilians.
This was the most informative dialogue between Palestinians and Israelis I ever saw. It was done with fairness, dignity, and respect.
This touches my heart inshallah one day conflicts ends and palestinians live a good life
This is such a good discussion, reasonable, intelligent & informative for an outsider like me.
That’s funny considering he’s a teacher
Love this!!! I continually pray for my Israeli and Palestinian friends!!! I also pray for the peace and unity of all who live within Israel and who are suffering oppression!!
Watching this video with all that is going on right now is heartbreaking💔
I hope you all can find peace and a solution
Watching this in October 23 is even more heart breaking.
Man it makes me cry even I'm a croatian katholic but seeing these two groups doing it the best way and i mean cry of happiness because history shows us a gun brings always the worst results
i would have loved to see women taking part in this conversation
@Chai wala Modi never heard gender equality?
@Chai wala Modi Yeah you are right, but also hugely wrong. Women have the right to think about the future. The men is born by a mother, women can be a mother. Not only that, they might to think about their safety, that's why they also join the military.
@Chai wala Modi let's just agree that they don't have that much time to put women on the list.
@@thisismacom3723 yeah maybe it would've been fun to see women in the debate . But making a case for gender equality is a bit too far imo. I dont think they nitpicked men. U'know
i would love to see the leaders of both nation in this conversation instead. that would be even better than seeing more men or women in it. i dont understand how does seeing more women in this conversation change anything. lets not derail from the more important issue here other than pushing your own agenda here. peace for both gender in this situation is more important than gender oppression. we are talking about lives in general here. not men or women.
How is this a fair conversation with Jewish intellectuals on one side and average Palestinians on the other... youth speakers like muhammad hijab or Omar Sulieman would of made sense or look fair.
Muhammad Hijab is Egyptian though
@Yasin Osman doesn't matter as he doesn't know how it's like being Palestinian...
@@ShayPatrickCormacTHEHUNTER I used Muhammad hijab as an intellectual reference, though he’s not Palestinian there people Like him and Omar Sulieman who these guys can have a conversation with. Instead of engaging with laymen Palestinians who clearly cant articulate the nuances of the Palestinians struggle. THAT will be a fair conversation.
How are they supposed to get hijab all the way from the UK. And tbf both sides are intellectual.
@Yasin Osman That's a good point but, the emotional issues are what matter to people at the end of the day.(it's sad but true)And Hijab does not score a point there..
10:49 Huge respect to the guy for having a gut to admit a fault on his side while all in this world are pointing a finger at each other.
Admitting each one’s fault is the first step towards the peace and I see the hope in him
Hey Rudy, you are such a good human being. I love your views and compassion for both sides of the conflict. May god bless you my brother
This project is a great example of what truly can be a great future Between the Jews and Palestinians cuz no matter how you look at it their Nation would only be stronger if both Palestinians and Jews came together.
@zaxx19 the Arabic language is derived from both Aramaic which was the language spoken in israel-palestine so many years ago as well as Hebrew both Hebrew and Aramaic and a little bit of Farsi makeup the Arabic language.
@zaxx19 another piece of advice I personally as a half Arabic Palestinian on my dad's side and Latino Hispanic on my mom's side and I speak fluent Arabic and fluent Spanish I have no problem in calling the Levant Israel or Palestine the only reason I said israel-palestine is for a little whiny babies like yourself so you could feel included in the name but at the end of the day to fucking name what really needs to happen is that most Palestinians and Israelis do you need to integrate and live together and they can accomplish with the United States is accomplished in the West. In Tel Aviv today you have the second biggest Silicon Valley we're yes there are Palestinians who live in Tel Aviv for your fucking information because I've been there and seen it with my own eyes and guess what the palace things that living Tel Aviv that speak both Arabic and Hebrew are reaping the benefits of a Multicultural Society through secular thinking and science but something tells me you're more of a hardcore Palestinian probably a Muslim at that yeah you're one of those guys that want to only see Palestine as a Muslim Nation I don't understand why so it can be just as shity as every other Muslim country out there the only reason Saudi Arabia and local or even relevant is because they have oil it's not their fucking culture or religion and who gives a shit about Mecca and that shity real estate in the fucking desert at least israel-palestine has beautiful land just like California or you have Forest valleys oceans mountains prairies Etc their land is perfect for all types of fruits vegetables and have always been the Melting Pot of the Middle East in all honesty the religion of Islam has little to nothing to do with the history of israel-palestine in the bigger picture now I'm not personally saying that you can't be Muslim and proud or a Palestine Muslim you could be a Palestinian Muslim just realize that your time can be better spent assimilating into what is today already Israel and maybe have your children reap the benefits of what a Multicultural Society like Israel with all its technology and startups a lot of modern medicine and Technology comes out of Israel that we used today here in America and all of Europe wake the fuck up
I'm still pretty young I'm positive with the right attitude and the fact that I even I know more Palestinians are sick and tired of the fighting the smart Palestinians encourage their kids to go to both Israeli Americanized schools where they can learn both in Hebrew as well as an Arabic and become professional doctors lawyers at a part of a bigger society and community.
I think your problem is that you see is real today as just a small United States in the Middle East where you see the Israelis drinking alcohol smoking weed going to strip clubs all westernized and modern in your point of view about being a Palestinian Muslim is one where those two things can't mix and at the end of the day that's a your problem because most young Palestinians will they be Christians or even Muslims they're not real Muslims they don't really care though have a smoke go have a drink they like to go out and have fun in other words it doesn't matter whether you're Jewish Israeli or Palestinian Christian or Palestine Muslim most of them in the new generation are secular if you're one of those hardcore religious people then you should leave Palestine and go to Mecca that's a better place for you
@zaxx19 just so you know you're an embarrassment to every Palestinian including myself and you are the problem my friend only people like you with your mentality
Can we take a second to observe how not a single party interrupted another? I hope the west is watching
This conversation has proved that with having open-minded and brave people on both sides, it is more likely to get rid off biased understandings and polarised stances. To my mind, this is a reasonable approach to tackle the roots of conflicts that politicians on both sides failed to address. I wish all the best to people of Israel 🇮🇱 and Palestine 🇵🇸.
Peace and love from Tunisia 🇹🇳
I'm Jewish and I'm so very sorry to my Palestinian brothers and sisters. I love you so much and I'm sorry that you are suffering so much from our hurt. We are family and we should love one another.
@@theteller393 some of us do. Some of us don't. I don't.
This is wonderful. But needs Hebrew subtitles too, to reach wider israeli audiences too!!!
Almost all Israeli people know english so no need for Hebrew subtitles really
Everyone across all nations need to watch this video! As a Christian I’ve been taught my whole life to stand with Israel 🇮🇱 but I have a heart and I feel for everyone involved. I wish our politicians could site down and listen to the people of the lands and understand everyone has been a victim I pray for everyone!
This must go viral...
I’m a Filipino and don’t know much about the real history of why there’s so much hatred between Israel and Palestine yet I’m so much into these matter as a human being living in the same world...
We must wake up that it’s already 21st century and that hatred must be stop...
And I LOVED this video because it shows that people can be open to communication... and I hope that not only we can speak but also can LISTEN TOO...
please do more videos like these so others that don’t understand, can learn in general....
And also I would like to ask viewers of a video to be OPEN TO WHAT YOUR WATCHING...
Who else is here in November 2023?
watching this video as a jewish person made me cry; these men are so intelligent and well-spoken, they give me so much hope for a brighter future for all
So, because you can't find your identity and don't feel liberated that means I have to suffer until you find yourself????? Wow!
We need more of this! Thanks for posting this video, especially when almost all hope has become so far-fetched in the region....
Such a gift to listen to you guys! That's mindblowing aide it starts destroying the Idea of"I have to choose a side" we want the liberation among all. We want a solution to this, and not more hate and misunderstanding. Thank you so much ❤
Listen.... Not only Israelis to Palestinians and Palestinians to Israelis. But this message is for everyone. Muslims, Jews, Christians. It doesn't matter. As humans we have 2 ears one mouth. Listen more, talk less. Talk if it's wise or something peaceful.... PEACE to all of you. Greetings, from a Muslim and a human ❤️
Yes
Greetings from a Jew and a human! :)
@jamsoup haha
Thank you! Respect from your Jewish brother :) Peace
😭 Free Palestinian from Hamas. Glimpse of hope, imagine if all Palestinians and Israelis think like them.
This is so amazing to see! In these dire times today, I hope this dialogue does not end now. There is hope!
Much better than the stuff on Jubilee. All the guests utmost well-spoken and respectful. Fantastic video.
Salam Alaykum Rudy. Just wanted to say that you are doing great work for both communities and I hope it helps Muslims and Jews to rekindle their once strong relations. May God protect you.
I appreciate your work, and the existence of this conversation is wonderful. however, as an Israeli I am a little bit disappointed that 75% of the time is just the Israelis talking. it is already a progress that the two sides meet of course, but I would wish for the next time to see a less Israeli dominated conversation and even more equal talk.
The problem is these open minded people are a minority on both sides
This conversations are so powerful! I on the brink of crying - to feel this love and connection, openness and the will to understand each other. To focus on solving the problems. I think it shows all of as a pattern how to move on from a world system, from world views which is not working anymore toward a new one, where we can have a mature existent - with our self and so with other human and not human beings.
