Taylor's a genius and musical prodigy. It's ok that her talents are over your head. Here's some thoughts on Taylor from people who understand music: Elton John: "She is a great songwriter. She is a great artist. She's phenomenal. I've never seen such a phenomenon since the Beatles." One Republic's Ryan Tedder (who has worked w/every big superstar in the world including Beyonce, Adele, Ellie Goulding, & more): "Taylor is a MUSICAL PRODIGY" (which is what she was considered from the start when working for Sony ATV as a professional songwriter from 14-16.5 y/o and as a teen country artist.) "She is pound for pound the most talented writer of any artist I've ever worked with. Taylor is the only artist I've ever worked with that has the complete skillset. If she weren't an artist, she'd be the #1 songwriter in the world. If she weren't a songwriter, she'd be the #1 artist in the world." Billy Joel: Taylor Swift is a very talented girl. She's productive and keeps coming up with great concepts and songs and she's huge. She's that generation's Beatles." Kenny Chesney: "First of all she's a brilliant writer and a great artist. But she worked really hard. Taylor, is one of the most amazing artists of our time, and very obviously, very diverse." Smashing Pumpkin's Billy Corgan: "Taylor's one of the most gifted pop artists of all time." Def Leopard Joe Elliott: "We were just so very impressed with Taylor. We became fans of hers. She's probably bigger than the Beatles and The Rolling Stones combined. There's been a lot of massively successful bands, but she's taken success to a level that's unheard of." Liz Rose (Taylor's Nashville co-writer at Sony and in Tay's country era) on Taylor: “The process with Taylor is so different because she’s so brilliant. For me, I’m usually lyrics, I put it all together - I’m a lot of the lyric. With Taylor, she just comes in and says ‘I’ve got this idea and here’s the melody and she just starts jumbling words out, she just starts spewing words. So, my thing with Taylor was just to start writing down everything as fast as I could and go, you said this, you said this, let’s put this here, move this there. I'm more of an editor. The first time I wrote with her I was just, I don’t even know what I’m doing here. She was just barely 14 y/o. She’s a genius. She’s a genius.” Keith Urban: "I mean God, Taylor's songwriting, it's so extraordinary. There's really no adjectives for it. She's such a great, great writer. So this new album (TTPD) is just more proof of that in really great ways."
It's kinda funny you think you're qualified to diss a multi-grammy winning writer's talent when you aren't capable of writing a sentence. "a blind"??? Oh, is your writing style "read between the lines cuz I'm too lazy to write all the words"??

@April-zb8fk I don't know why they are being so modest, it's weird, in fact Taylor is clearly the best in every music genre there is, she can beat James brown at funk, Metallica at metal, she's better at 70s pop than Fleetwood Mac or Abba, she's a better gospel singer than Elvis or Aretha Franklin, she's the best at every instrument there is, she's a better trumpet player than Miles Davis, better drummer than John Bonham, better piano player than Chopin, better guitarist than Jimi Hendrix, she's to talented that a black hole is forming as we speak around here that is so powerful that it threatens to counteract the big bang expansion of the universe and instead implode the entire universe in the big crunch
@@leob4403 You're being extremely childish Leo. Someone can be a musical prodigy and genius without being the best at every instrument. Grow up and figure out how life works and get out of the basement. You obviously enjoy music, or you wouldn't be familiar with any of these artists. You're intelligent enough to know that Taylor is in fact a genius. That fact doesn't affect your enjoyment of your favorite artists, and it certainly doesn't take anything away from THEIR talents!!
@April-zb8fk if you tell me someone is a musical genius, it's not enough to show me sales numbers as "proof" of that statement. Someone like Chris Martin I can see when he's put on the spot that he's a musical genius, for example Dick Van Dyke asks him to write a song about him aging to a 100 years, and Chris can immediately improvise a beautiful piano song around that, that's musical genius. I have never seen any proof of Taylor being that
Why is this guy just repeating everything she just said?
😂🤣
Great video. I have a video similar to this. Great job!
Cool video 😂

Taylor Swift songwriting tips.... like a blind speaking about colors
She is a songwriter. She’s very good it’s only her a producer and sometimes a collaborator.
