- No no...I'm not expecting, BUT my sister just had a beautiful baby boy so I thought to take the opportunity to show you how to make a gender reveal cake! There are loads of different ways of doing this - I like to avoid colouring the cake itself (just because you need lots of colouring and I'd rather avoid it...) So the surprise comes from the very middle.

How to decide about the colour to be put inside the cake
Usually if the client wants it to be a surprise themselves, they ask their doctor to write it down and put it in an envelope, then you give the envelope to the cake maker and they select the colour accordingly.

Make lemon curd
Tiramisu, creme patissiere, creme brulee, etc. If you cant think of anything else then whisk lightly with 1tsp of sugar and freeze
