    I too own a CK2610, for about a year and a half now. Absolutely love it. In researching tractors before my purchase, I checked out the other brands, and for the money, features and looks, none of the others could touch the Kioti. I highly recommend adding the Piranha tool bar to the bucket, works great and digs into the dirt, and I have really beat it getting up rocks and hasn't shown the first sign of any damage.

    that's precisely why I started making Kioti vids, when I was researching Kioti I couldn't find a lot of decent videos. rock and roll man!

    One correction ... you said to deploy the rear differential lock, you need to apply/push-in the clutch first. That's nearly impossible given that both are a left foot operation. You can apply the lock by pushing down with your left heel on the fly. CK20S owner here who is considering the 2610 ... especially if an option is to add front remote hydraulics and a thumb control on the FEL lever to operate a grapple.

    Thanks for taking the time to go through this, I am looking to get the same model, but dude, DON'T ever trust hydraulics, stnding under the raised loader without some sort of mechanical lock is a really bad idea.

    Hello DP Farm, this was a good overview of your tractor. I been seeing some good reviews on Kioti tractors. I got a new J.D 3025e last April and so far I'm satisfied but had I researched this particular tractor I probably owned a Kioti. Back then I was looking for one without the DPF. I don't believe yours has one. I found out anything under 25 H.P. doesn't require a DPF to meet Tier4 emissions . This is a heavy built machine I'd like to have one. Thank you

    You only need the clutch to start the tractor and to engage your pto. The clutch is not need for anything else.

    I forgot to ask, does this tractor have a "float" position on the front loader? I
    went and looked at Kubotas last week and it had float position which I thought was a nice feature.
    Since I have decided to buy the CK2610, I hope it has it also.
    I used a smaller kioti that did not have that feature.
    Thanks agin for the vid.
    Good and informative!

    Thanks for doing these videos! I decided this morning that the CK2610 is the tractor that I will be buying. I'm going for the backhoe implement also. I am going to subscribe so I can see more videos. Thanks again!

    you don't need the clutch to engage diff lock...need to keep your foot on it,when you let go it disengages again...only need when traction is not good...

    I've narrowed my tractor purchase down to one of two tractors: a Kubota B2601HST or the Kioti CK2610HST. Both tractors I got exactly the same price on from the dealer which is $16,800.00. The Kubota is rated at 25.5 HP and the Kioti rated 24.5. both have the front end loader. The kubota has individual brake pedals for the brakes, the Kioti just one pedal for both brakes. The Kioti has a quick detach bucket as standard the Kubota does not. It has the standard bucket with pins. The Kubota weighs over 1000lbs. LESS than the Kioti. The Kioti being a little less horsepower but weighing over 1000lbs. MORE than the Kubota makes me wonder if the Kioti won't be a bit under-powered? A thousand lbs. is a big weight difference. Any Kioti owner's have any opinion on that. Sometimes more weight and an overall bigger tractor can be either an advantage or disadvantage depending on what you're using it for. Appearance wise the Kioti appears much larger than the Kubota; in fact the Kioti dealer told me that the 35 HP Kioti and the CK2610 are exactly the same dimensions......which again makes me worry that the Kioti CK2610 might be a bit under powered for the size of the tractor. I believe that the Kubota would have a better resale value if "Life" should ever require me to sell the tractor. Any thoughts and opinion's would be appreciated. I want to get this purchase right!

    • @CaptainPetrolburner
      @CaptainPetrolburner 7 років тому +1

      The additional weight and strength puts the Kioti in a totally different class than the B2601. The Kioti is not underpowered by any means. Power to weight ratio isn't really as relevant in tractors as it is in cars and airplanes. You should be comparing the Kioti CK2610 to the Kubota L2501, not the much smaller B2601.

      Old timers will tell you to buy tractors by the pound, giving Kioti the advantage.. 20-30 years ago Kubota was entry level, so where will Kioti be in 20 years ? We just bought the CK 4010 hst for 18,200

    • @alphaone101
      @alphaone101 7 років тому

      Tim, thanks for the advice. That CK4010 you purchased for 18,200.....did that include a loader for that price? If so then my local dealer is really high priced on his Kioti's! I'm a little uneasy about this dealer anyway. Their main business is ATV's and snowmobiles. They have maybe 8 or 9 new 2016 Kioti's on their lot (all of them sit outside) and some bush hogs and rototillers attached to the tractors. Other than that they aren't like an actual farm equipment or tractor dealer and that makes me nervous about parts and service in the future. This is the only Kioti dealer close enough to me to make it practical for me to deal with them. The more nervous i get about this deal the more I'm considering a Massey Ferguson 1526 from a very large farm equipment and tractor sales that has been in business here before I was born and handles everything tractor and farming related and it's all they do!

      I was shopping for a 3510, and was going to have 1 transferred from dealer to dealer and the dealer closest to me had a 4010 he wanted gone so he let it go for the 3510 price rather than do a transfer.. Plus it has several options besides the loader, 2 rear remotes,, rubber floor mat, and cruise control..

    I am in the market for a SCUT or a CUT, I am looking at either the Kubota BX25, Kioti CS2410 or the CK20 I am not sure I want to invest 5K in a backhoe right out of the gate so the Kubota may be out of the picture because you HAVE to get the backhoe whne you buy it. I like that I can add the backhoe on the Kioti tractors after the fact. I am mainly going to use it for 3 acre home gardening and mostly cutting grass, think the CK series is too "big" for cutting grass?

    Just a friendly safety alert neighbor but aw allow any hydraulic appendages or attachments to rest of the ground or on a brace because there have been countless unexpected accident's leading to disability or death by doing what you just did. Please if you need better access to the engine compartment please be safe and remove the loader all together completely. Not getting onto you but this is very serious. Please be safe and thanks for the video.

    Great vid. I got the same Tractor with the backhoe attachment. Have you done any service on it yet? I got 50 hours on mine and am about to change the fluids and filters. Love to see any vids on service if you make any or know of some on yourtube. Did you get a horn with yours? My dealer told me that it was an option but that makes no sense to me cause the button and wiring are already there.

      Adam Rideout - what's the price on that machine?I've been looking at tractors and can't make up my mind. A boomer 24 is $27000 all said and done. I think this one is around the same size. And does the hoe have full frame hookup or is it 3point?

    • @Biefject
      @Biefject 7 років тому

      Tractor is a Kioti 2610, 24.5HP. Cost me $32000 with no tax Canadian. The hoe is a full frame hookup. Great machine. The 2510 has the same HP and engine but smaller frame. I like the bigger loader bucket and hoe.

    I think it would be very difficult to push it the clutch AND engage the dif-lock.

    • @Rdrake1413
      @Rdrake1413 8 років тому +1

      The diff-lock would usually only be depressed if your rear wheels are spinning. No need to press diff-lock and clutch at the same time.

    6:15 - how on earth are you going to depress clutch and engage lock diff at the same time if they’re both on the left side?

    • @APBT-Bandog
      @APBT-Bandog 4 роки тому

      you don't. You let out on the clutch, and then depress the locking diff.

    Never work under a raised Loader. A hydraulic line or plug can fail at any time and the Loader drop without warning. Loader drop can be FATAL.

    • @Rdrake1413
      @Rdrake1413 8 років тому

      Not sure on this tractor but most I have worked on have a way to secure the loader when raised. But any any case it would be a good idea to secure it with something whenever you have it raised and are working on the tractor.

  • @MiserableOldFart
    @MiserableOldFart 7 років тому

    No left/right brake? My tractor has left/right brake so you can theoretically make tighter turns, but they put it on the same side as the hydro pedal, so you would have to use a stick or something to actually use it..
