I absolutely adore this song. I was kinda passively listening to the entire album at work the day it dropped. Couldnt have it loud so it was just a quick scan before I really got home to bump it. While messing around on my phone, this song came on and I heard "My arms I've raised aaaggaaAAAAAIIINN. Today I don't feel...TETHEREEEEDDD." and i picked my face up from off the screen, hand over my mouth like omg this is amazing. One of their best songs throughout their entire history and one of my favorite songs ever written across time

What's ironic is that this song would have belonged to box car racer's second album. That album wasn't recorded and Travis proposed bringing it to this album.

Some of the lyrics in the actual lyric book that came with the CD are wrong, it's crazy lol in the lyric book for more than you know, it says "wait for the fuckery" even though he clearly says "phone to ring"
I didn’t feel like it was there during the tour dates last year, Coachella was an exception but Tom occasionally still hit flat notes so clearly there’s no autotune fixing it
Man, it’s unreal seeing them playing like this in 2024.. if you go look at them playing neighborhoods in 2011 Tom looks bloated, unhealthy, unhappy, and bored as shit. He didn’t give a damn no matter how good he was sounding, this is like the Tom the aliens took away from us in 2005 was given back to us, the clone destroyed.
Not hardcore like the genre, like a hard-core fan of the band lol (i think that's what the op meant). I would think just splurging for the ticket is pretty hard-core already though lol.
Wouldn’t have been an issue cuz the backing tracks could be sped up. But it’s still a good pace and they don’t really do the whole playing everything faster then it usually is anymore, haven’t done since 2009

@Thinkmentos also it tends to affect the sound of the Amp, make it more thin sounding which easily gets over powered by the other instruments
