Should American black people establish a publishing company in Africa. We continue to outsource and give our resourceful content for Caucasians. African people need to go our own way.
I find it interesting that bill comes on the tenth anniversary of the My Brother's Keeper Initiative. I also thought it was odd a conservative senator is the one backing it. I don't think he would feel the same if brothas addressed their grievances.
Hey Dr. here’s a topic you can bring up, black boys destroyed race stigmas as kids in the 90’s. We’re seeing more black male abandonment of predominantly African American areas than retention rate, how long until we drop the black parts and continue our work we started as kids?
All the above resources have not, and are not directed toward disadvantaged and Black. Just African American mothers and their children. This completely leaves out, the married w/ children and the single and childless. If only those participating and benefiting, are within the African American “single mother” culture; { mom, their children; and children’s father } what is everyone else, suppose to think or do ? According, to some very influential individuals : “ We are not Black. “
Hey Doc! I accidentally deleted my last comment while trying to edit. I can't even argue. The cartoon/anime series is better in every aspect. All the characters have depth and dimensions be they males or females.
I hear you. But don’t deny the agenda to downplay how males are being represented. It’s not an arbitrary or imaginative thing. And it’s been hurting boys and men for years.
What is the entire point of launching a "Coding Boot Camp" at a University/College when if you want to learn how to write software, you can just take CIS 100 ? This is stupid. Also.....as someone Who has a Masters in Software Engineering.....a 4 week "Boot Camp" is not going to provide much of anything w/r to the skills you need to work within this profession.
Exactly. It's not about teaching coding it's the hustle these so called womens rights groups have been running on the big money tech industry to shake it down for money. These corporations and wealthy institutions will sponsor coding camps for women but they always have to show they have specifically given money to coding camps targeting BW. They've been pushing this ideal for at least a decade and a half. They can't deal with the reality that most women do not want to have to solve problems all day long. On top of the fact that software engineering as a profession is stressful and intellectually challenging and you are responsible for the code you write and a lot of the time you have to push yourself to get projects done once all the excitement around said project has diminished . Check out these female panels at tech events, that's all you are hearing as a response to "why aren't there more women in tech"? We need money to create bootcamps;
I took an online course from a respected computer scientist who teaches at Michigan State who said he believed people should be taught to code before getting a CS degree. He said it would get more people into the field. He's right.

African people need to go our own way.
Excellent show.
Sound is low I have beats by dre love the topic
I find it interesting that bill comes on the tenth anniversary of the My Brother's Keeper Initiative. I also thought it was odd a conservative senator is the one backing it. I don't think he would feel the same if brothas addressed their grievances.
Doc thanks for the video. Please turn up your mic a little Please sir.
Yep
Music is so loud...

Hey Dr. here’s a topic you can bring up, black boys destroyed race stigmas as kids in the 90’s.
If only those participating and benefiting, are within the African American “single mother” culture;
{ mom, their children; and children’s father }
what is everyone else, suppose to think or do ? According, to some very influential individuals : “ We are not Black. “
🤔 💡 💯
Another black masculinist turn, maybe?
Maybe…
Idk about the group at large but at least in this space we BEEN knew black women did not belong to black men lol she said nothing profound
Im wanted to comment on the sad situation of young man ran over ; it's 2024 Eye 👀 for and EYE no more waiting on courts ....smh.
1:11:00 same things goes for higher education, women *attempt* at a much higher rate, but men *complete* at a higher rate
The back ground music a little distracting,
Just finished watching Avatar the last Airbender on Netflix. I enjoyed it, it follows the cartoon perfectly.
What’d you think of the feminist tropes in the war?
What is the entire point of launching a "Coding Boot Camp" at a University/College when if you want to learn how to write software, you can just take CIS 100 ? This is stupid. Also.....as someone Who has a Masters in Software Engineering.....a 4 week "Boot Camp" is not going to provide much of anything w/r to the skills you need to work within this profession.
Exactly. It's not about teaching coding it's the hustle these so called womens rights groups have been running on the big money tech industry to shake it down for money. These corporations and wealthy institutions will sponsor coding camps for women but they always have to show they have specifically given money to coding camps targeting BW. They've been pushing this ideal for at least a decade and a half. They can't deal with the reality that most women do not want to have to solve problems all day long. On top of the fact that software engineering as a profession is stressful and intellectually challenging and you are responsible for the code you write and a lot of the time you have to push yourself to get projects done once all the excitement around said project has diminished . Check out these female panels at tech events, that's all you are hearing as a response to "why aren't there more women in tech"? We need money to create bootcamps;
I took an online course from a respected computer scientist who teaches at Michigan State who said he believed people should be taught to code before getting a CS degree. He said it would get more people into the field. He's right.
@@mathiso01 That's exactly why I suggested CIS 100 instead of CS 101.
@@mathiso01 ....also...you typically cannot register for any Computer Science Core Courses until you have completed whatever intro to computer programming course(s) any particular accredited University/College is offering that is almost always a pre-requisite for any any programs that target CS, EE, and SWEN.
@@mathiso01 ...not to mention that Community Colleges and Universities have been offering Programming/Web-Development certificate programs for over 20 years. So yeah....this "Boot Camp" smells like a grift to me.
man I wanted to make my own comic book but damn its literally so expensive... I wrote a few books one is a series called Aetheon & K'nuba, but even that is expensive in terms of editing...and marketing... I also agree they should recast t'challa. disney and coogler trying to make shuri pop and its not working...
I agree with you.
