I cannot get past the brand name, big faux pas on that company's part LOL! I think after seeing this, I will go with the Breville. I am hating that the yellow or green Breville is not available at the moment, which is why I have not yet purchased because I was hoping they would come back in stock. I have been waiting for MONTHS! I am tired of waiting. Guess I will just end up buying another one...ugh. I believe it will end up being far superior, because the Breville has a top part that you can press down. You don't have to use your hand as force.
To reduce the juicing effort, first roll the orange or lime on the counter top by applying some palm pressure to make it softer. And then juice it as you would normally.
I love that you went into every detail, like how easy it is to lift the reamer out and if it hurts hitting your thumb on the reamer while it’s running. Very, very helpful!
The electric motor and the gears are where problems could arise. SMEG uses an induction motor Also when you start smelling the juicer while operation you know you are in trouble. it isn't mentioned in the video so that should be ok with SMEG and that you see in it's price. Also uses SMEG TRITAN coating which is a kind of crystal so your juice contains juice and not unwanted material. What i dislike is the looks of the juicer. The bowl on top is advertised as to carry juice with it. A bit more squarish would be more sensible.
Really only good for oranges and grapefruit. Also, the small footprint of the machine could make it unstable. I'll stick to my cheap plastic hand reamer.
There's a metal strainer inside that collects most of the pulp in the machine. It might not get everything but I think it does a really good job. Then if you wanted to add more pulp into the juice you could just scoop it out of the strainer.
Lovely vid Lauren! May I ask you… How much pulp does one get? I like my orange juice perfectly clean and I do wonder if I would need to use a manual strainer afterwards :-) Thank you!
erm, seems it’s more of a vanity piece than actually an effective juicer. Thanks for doing this review though. You just saved me $200. 🏆

Yes Breville definitely wins big points for not needing to push down with your hands and also because their cone is pointier!
I'm sorry, I don't think this juicer is worth $180. It's cute, though.

The breville is better. You don’t have to hold the citrus with your barehand and don’t have to use the manual one.
Agree

Good job! Very thorough.
Excellent review.
I have the citrus juicer in baby blue and I LOVE IT
My nutrichef juicer has a handle. All I do is push the padded handle down.
Thanks for review! Is juice coming with pulps? Can you control pulp amount somehow?

@@HelloLaurenUA-cam Great! Thanks a lot! I saw some has pulp controller, and was looking for some juice maker with pulps. But thanks for reply :)

Shere did you buy your manul juicer?
I believe I got it from Amazon.

I believe the bowl, strainer and lid are dishwasher safe.
Благодарю за обзор, все очень подробно и понятно.
Great video! I am excited to get mine in blue next month!
Thanks, I hope you enjoy yours! The blue is a really nice color.

what a problem? only 1 glass it stops working. Got to waitfor long until it starts working again.
No, it didn't stop working. I need to take breaks to prepare more fruit or clean pulp out of the machine.
@@HelloLaurenUA-cam is that an excuse??😂😂
