When I was at Sukkot 2020 hosted by Lion and Lamb Ministries, I heard both Eddie and Rico teaching about the cockcrow in the Temple. This is a wonderful example of the different things a person can learn by attending the different events of which Monte offers at events such as this. Since I have been watching online for the past many years, I have realized I had never heard any of these things being taught in the churches I grew up in. Should you have an opportunity to go to one or more of the events which Lion and Lamb hosts, you will love them. We can then share with others about them as well.

And where do you read that the angel was Gabriel? The angel that appeared to Mary and Joseph was Gabriel but where does it say the angel that appeared to Zacharias was Gabriel? Eddie and Miles apparently don't take the book of Jubilees into account, since that's where we see that Jacob gave Levi the priesthood while in Bethel, then Jacob paid tithes to Levi, then the whole family celebrated the first earthly Sukkot and 8th Day! -Jubilees 32. And Aaron was already the Levitical priest at the base of Mt. Sinai...

MANY believing truth-seekers have read it completely and found it full of truth. The UA-cam channel Kingdom in Context has a series of Jubilees videos where they test the book to see if it's good or not. My husband and I HAVE found a couple of statements in chapter 50 that appear to contradict the Canon, but translation errors and additions, sadly, are found regularly in any books of the Bible😢 so that, in itself, doesn't disqualify a book.

Is there any verse or verses in the Bible that directly say that there is a second earthly priest hood in the order of Melchizedek? There is a verse in the Book of Hebrews that appears to directly contradict this teaching or doctrine. Hebrews 8:4 says: For if he (Yeshua) were on earth he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priest that offer gifts according to the law. This verse tells me that the Melchizedek Priesthood is a higher heavenly or spiritual priesthood without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. The Levitical priesthood is the earthly priesthood which is only a shadow of the greater priest hood to come under Yeshua Messiah. Shalom in Yeshua's name!
That is a good question. There is an initial mention of Melchizadek and presumably his order of priests in Genesis. However there is a second mention in the New Testament when Yeshua is called a high priest in the order of Melchizadek. That answers your question but not your concern. I don;t know the answer you seek but I share your fascination with knowing the mystery behind this.

We are not to add to the word nor take away from it. We are to test every teaching to the word of Elohim. The Melchizedek priesthood was that of "the firstborn." Before Mount Sinai, "the firstborn" male of house, clan or tribe, inherited the role of priest. At the foot of Sinai, the priesthood was "changed" to Levite/Aaronic, because of the golden calf idolatry. When Yeshua Messiah died as the "one" perfect sacrifice, the sins committed under the "first covenant" were reconciled (Heb 9:15), including the sin of the golden calf. "The priesthood" could therefore, legally be "changed" BACK to the Melchizedek order (that of the firstborn). Yeshua the Son of God the Father, IS "the firstborn, over all creation" (Colossians 1:15). He is therefore High Priest over the House of God.

Do you (and does Eddie Chumney) believe the Letter to the Hebrews belongs in the New Testament canon? Zadok was descended from Levi. If Master Yeshua qualified to be a Zadok priest (through the bloodline of Mary back to Zadok), that would mean "the priesthood" was NOT "changed" as it says in The Letter to the Hebrews (7:12). Hebrews says clearly that Yeshua Messiah was NOT of that tribe. Hebrews 7:5-6 "he whose genealogy is NOT derived from them." v.4 Makes the point that the Melchizedek priesthood is greater than the Levite. v.11 says "our Lord arose from Judah" and "not called according to the order of Aaron." Galatian 3:18&19 are ABSOLUTELY talking about the Mosaic Covenant being added to the Abrahamic covenant. “Because of transgression” is speaking about the fact that the transmission of the Torah from father to son was breaking down, especially when the family moved to Egypt, and transgressions were increasing. The reason being because the Torah was not written down and or being properly passed down. How can we be certain the passage is referring to Torah? Because it says, “having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator…”. This was the angel on the mountain who was the agency of YHWH who transmitted the Torah to Moses. There is nothing in the Exodus passage or in any passage of OT regarding the golden calf incident being the reason why YHWH made the levitical covenant. You are making that assumption, reading your bias into the text, because our OT “cannon” does not tell us why YHWH made a covenant with Levi!! BUT on the contrary the book of Jubilees ch 30 does tell us why the covenant was made with Levi. It was made because of his zeal in his dealings with Shechem when he defiled Levi’s sister Dina. It says in black and white, “For this reason I have commanded you, saying, “Give this testimony to Israel, see how the Shechemites and their sons fared? See how they were delivered into the hands of two sons of Jacob, and they killed them under torture? It was counted to them for righteousness, and it is written down to them for righteousness. 18 The offspring of Levi were chosen for the priesthood, and to be Levites, that they might minister before Yah, as we do, continually. Levi and his sons will be blessed forever, for he was zealous to execute righteousness and judgment and vengeance on all those who arose against Israel.” Therefore when the time came to build the Tabernacle, the promise to Levi & the priesthood was fulfilled.

Is there any verse or verses in the Bible that directly say that there is a second earthly priest hood in the order of Melchizedek? There is a verse in the Book of Hebrews that appears to directly contradict this teaching or doctrine. Hebrews 8:4 says: For if he (Yeshua) were on earth he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priest that offer gifts according to the law. This verse tells me that the Melchizedek Priesthood is a higher heavenly or spiritual priesthood without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. The Levitical priesthood is the earthly priesthood which is only a shadow of the greater priest hood to come under Yeshua Messiah. Shalom in Yeshua's name!
That is a good question. There is an initial mention of Melchizadek and presumably his order of priests in Genesis. However there is a second mention in the New Testament when Yeshua is called a high priest in the order of Melchizadek. That answers your question but not your concern. I don;t know the answer you seek but I share your fascination with knowing the mystery behind this.

We are not to add to the word nor take away from it. We are to test every teaching to the word of Elohim. If any teaching fails the test of the Torah, we are to be very careful no matter how forceful or gentle the delivery or deliverer is. Shalom!
The Melchizedek priesthood was that of "the firstborn."
Before Mount Sinai, "the firstborn" male of house, clan or tribe, inherited the role of priest.
At the foot of Sinai, the priesthood was "changed" to Levite/Aaronic, because of the golden calf idolatry.
When Yeshua Messiah died as the "one" perfect sacrifice, the sins committed under the "first covenant" were reconciled (Heb 9:15), including the sin of the golden calf. "The priesthood" could therefore, legally be "changed" BACK to the Melchizedek order (that of the firstborn).
Yeshua the Son of God the Father, IS "the firstborn, over all creation" (Colossians 1:15). He is therefore High Priest over the House of God.
Why would we need 3rd temple? Jeshua was the final sacrifice... We are the temple of God...

Zadok was descended from Levi. If Master Yeshua qualified to be a Zadok priest (through the bloodline of Mary back to Zadok), that would mean "the priesthood" was NOT "changed" as it says in The Letter to the Hebrews (7:12).
Hebrews says clearly that Yeshua Messiah was NOT of that tribe.
Hebrews 7:5-6 "he whose genealogy is NOT derived from them."
v.4 Makes the point that the Melchizedek priesthood is greater than the Levite.
v.11 says "our Lord arose from Judah" and "not called according to the order of Aaron."
To go with the Zadok bloodline descendant story, one would need to throw out the Letter to the Hebrews.

John the Baptist could not transfer the High Priesthood to Yeshua because Yeshua was of the tribe of Judah which disqualifies him. Hebrews 7:14
Yahusha was also related to John the Baptist. Their mothers were cousins. Elizabeth and Zechariah were from the line of Aaron. Making Yahusha eligible to be both king and priest.
Galatian 3:18&19 are ABSOLUTELY talking about the Mosaic Covenant being added to the Abrahamic covenant. “Because of transgression” is speaking about the fact that the transmission of the Torah from father to son was breaking down, especially when the family moved to Egypt, and transgressions were increasing. The reason being because the Torah was not written down and or being properly passed down. How can we be certain the passage is referring to Torah? Because it says, “having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator…”. This was the angel on the mountain who was the agency of YHWH who transmitted the Torah to Moses. There is nothing in the Exodus passage or in any passage of OT regarding the golden calf incident being the reason why YHWH made the levitical covenant. You are making that assumption, reading your bias into the text, because our OT “cannon” does not tell us why YHWH made a covenant with Levi!! BUT on the contrary the book of Jubilees ch 30 does tell us why the covenant was made with Levi. It was made because of his zeal in his dealings with Shechem when he defiled Levi’s sister Dina. It says in black and white, “For this reason I have commanded you, saying, “Give this testimony to Israel, see how the Shechemites and their sons fared? See how they were delivered into the hands of two sons of Jacob, and they killed them under torture? It was counted to them for righteousness, and it is written down to them for righteousness.

The verse that isreal will be a nation of priests was long after the sin of the golden calf, fact Aaron who incided this act by telling the Israelites to throw gold in the fire was later awarded high priest, which is literally the Melchizedek priesthood
