Btw, the "play" button allows you to put the dice in the slot without triggering the card, so you can reroll the unused dice without ruining the 6 you already gotten.
Tom rerolling a 6 instead of using uppercut and rerolling the extra 1 from it does me a hurt.
tom really needs someone to just sit next to him for dicey dungeons and just to every now and then go "now tom, take a second and actually look at the screen and try to comprehend what is happening" i think it would save him a lot of trouble lol

Tom is so smart in other games sometimes, but when he plays dicey dungeons its like he cant read or process any of the moves
I legit love it so much.
Every single play, he misplays every single little step it's amazing.
My favorite is when he has lethal no matter what he does, and is still frozen trying to figure out some play, and then surprised the guy dies immediately

Even if he did learn that, he'd likely forget to do it for the rest of the run.
The amount of misplays around that uppercut ability is off the scale on this one.
Even ends of a misplays where he could have used omniash if he furyed thed bicep curl.
I love that the victory points were a reference to one punch man's work out. And great vid as always Tom!
I did not expect the -1 to get rid of the die to be fair. Based on how the 6 +1 works I’d have expected it to be the same. I’ll forgive the missplay
Eh, one plus one equals seven, which can be represented on dice with a six and a one. On the split side, one minus one just makes zero, which isn't on a standard die haha
@@orrhousecreative Yeah, but didn't it used to work that way with the lockpick (?) Back in the day (split a die in two, and splitting a 1 gave you 2 ones.)?
Yeah, which makes no sense either; besides, why would nudging a 1 give you two 1s? Lollipop specifically has to say that it gives you two 1s when it nudges a 1
Loving these reunions. Warrior was the first I played coming back and the gameplay blew my mind. Can’t wait to see Tom play the witch as well.
Almost had omnislash, just had to fury the +1 on the five
but then he would not have had the charge to use the omnislash, it replaces the fury and keeps the charge.

My favorite is when the enemy has like 1 health. And Tom has 5 different ways to do damage.
And he's just completely frozen trying to come up with a big brain play to win.
I miss the "misplay" edit for each of those lovely misplays happening

Tom if you used fury THEN got the six you'd have gotten 2 sixes and 2 ones and you'd have enough to kill with omnislash or the cantrip
For people who don't know, this game is on mobile with both the Scary update AND Reunion for $5.
I don't recall seeing some reusable burns being available in this run? Maybe they patched it since you could do some infinite workout stalls by keeping a low dice enemy on 1-2 hp, forcing them to only end their turn while you get off every bonus health, dice, and omnislash workout. Some really solid cheese.
Immediate blunder less than 2 minutes in 😂
Things I noticed about workouts:
- some a clearly immediate bonus (7 Shield or 4 healing)
- some are clearly longterm bonus (extra Dice, Extra Max HP, new Ultimate)
- some are simple (one die), so they are easily done. Always seem to be short term bonuses
- some are really complex (needing 3-7 specific dice)
I just enjoy that the creator is going for the meme.

If you had furyied the return a 1 mechanic it would have done what you wanted, but misplays aren't real. So great job!

Something about choosing which spells you have in your spellbook, and it was ball-bustingly hard.
Tom seems to be a bit slow at the time of recording this one.
The majority of problems in this episode are because Tom doesn't want to take another second or two to just read the cards and instead randomly slams dice into them to the expected results of not reading. It's already a fifty minute long video, another five from you reading your cards isn't going to be the end of the world.
That would also solve most of the "I'm bad at gaaaaaaames" issues. Just read, Tom. There usually aren't timers. Take a few seconds and just read.
Except for the first half of the video he took longer than he really needed to specifically because he *was* reading everything.
@@Helldhaz And then the moment he stopped he started misplaying. Which was my entire point. The man needs to keep reading, because either his memory is garbage or he's so focused on other things he can't focus long enough to put what he reads into practice 30 seconds later.
@@Ashendal streamers and content creators have said streamer blindness is very real. They get so focused on avoiding dead air that their brain stops retaining info and their level of observation declines. honestly it happens to me when I'm just rambling about something to my friends when we play something together. I would hazard a guess that our brains just aren't very good at simultaneous intake and output.
@@gemsolus6568 So stop being so focused on not having "dead air" and focus on being competent at the game? That's my main complaint about how things are going. Streamers are so concerned over nonsense that they'll put out an objectively terrible bit of content because they're constantly trying to do random things that they believe they "need" to do. Just focus on the game and stop trying to multitask which makes you garbage at the game.
@@Ashendal the point isn't necessarily to be good at the game, the point is to be entertaining. Because they know they're making entertainment for their viewers. Avoiding Dead Air is important when making entertainment.
I hope that "play" button is a class feature and an update to all the characters :/
