How fun is that ? I grew up in Bloomfield Hills . I love Detroit . It's about time to celebrate our Great Lakes . I'd love to cruise on that ship stopping at some wonderful ports Michigan has to offer . If it's sucessful , I want to invite my siblings to go on that thing . The Great Lakes are the future - by the way . Fresh water is priceless !🌎
I live outside Toronto...haven't heard a thing about it and I watch local news everyday. Google search only brings up U.S. media...very typical ! Much like the Toronto to Rochester ferry...people in Rochester made a HUGE deal about it because it's exciting and great for both cities. Toronto media never covered it and hence it never got off the ground. A city of millions and we can't make a go of it...Pathetic !
If they only knew what was on that ship you new people haven't got a clue. Look it up they have the ability to go on smaller boats and or ways to take you on shirt cruises you didn't do any home work search on this ship ....
8 grand for a 8 day cruise in the cheapest room. so i guess the rich will enjoy it. i get paid to travel the lakes id never pay that much to do that lol. wo der how long this will last

“Fresh water is priceless” great let’s put a cruise ship in it that goes in circles for no good reason
Nicely done Viking, welcome !
I love this!!!!!!
BTW...in order to get to Detroit it would have had to pass by Toronto and go through the Welland canal which is in Canada...rolling my eyes !
Cool idea for a Pure Michigan Staycation.
Very cool, I read about this a while back. Super expensive though. Thousands
Interesting that this is such a big deal. We leave from Toronto on 5/30 on another cruise line. It goes to Detroit and the cruise ends in Chicago
You drove 60 miles to see a boat? WTF?
Toronto to Duluth 18K per person
Better cruising on the big lakes than any ocean, during rough weather! lol
You must forget the Edmund Fitzgerald... And the many many others
Don’t underestimate the waves on the Great Lakes it gets very dangerous for ships

Very cool, lets hope it doesnt pollute the lakes too much
Get out of here... You just regurgitate and spout ignorance without actually knowing what the hell you are talking about

$6,000
wow. I'll pass.
it took awhile !!!! hope the price's are for everybody not just for the BILLIONAIRES.
8 grand for 8 days for the cheapest room. 20k for 8 days in the owners suite. rich people only
They better leave 💨!
I’ve been on several cruises and have a few more on my list. The great lakes wouldn’t even be on my radar. Must be for European tourists or something.
