IMHO older audiences hate click-bait more because, in general, we have less lesiure time to risk. I barely have enough time to browse and read a title and get started, let alone finish a video sometimes. The title becomes almost a sacred contract. That being said, as a viewer, I really appreciate what you said.
I think also, I personally don’t enjoy the feeling of the UA-camr trying to mentally manipulate me into watching their video by lying or over exaggerating.
I think it's more that we were around when things weren't like that. For younger people, click bait is just the way things are, because we have a tendency to think of anything older than us as pretty much eternal.
On the other hand, we know for a fact it doesn't have to be like that
theres also just the fact that the more people experience things, the more they develop actual standards.
When Frost skips the envenom at 9:22 immediatly after that huge clickbait rant and you are unsure whether the video title is just a meta joke or not

One of the most disappointing things to learn about Envenom is that Snecko Skull only adds 1 extra poison no matter how many stacks of it you have. (they trigger simultaneously)
Yea it's just like noxious fumes since snecko works best with a lot of different sources of poison
They don't trigger simultaneously they stack the number of poison applied per instance of damage. Same thing but not quite

Mouse over your buffs. Stacks of powers like Envenom don't become two instances of "add one poison", they become "add two poison".
If you want things to go crazy, you need to stack events, like Tingsha and multiple Tools of the Trade (Tingsha triggers for each card discarded, even if you discard multiple cards at once).

It's not just streamers, people hate it when entertainers in general want to make a living. "That musician just released that type of record because it would sell" like ??? That's their job, to make records that sell.
There's some nuance ofc when actual ethics are concerned like if an artist collabs with a popular artist known for abusing minors and something and pretends like it's okay then in that case yeah, it's wrong to compromise your ethics for money and viewership. But nothing is free under the shadow of capitalism and entertainers have to play the capitalism game too.

This is just a PSA but please for the love of god don't go thrifting if you can afford normal clothes. I'm not joking when I say Thrift Shop by Macklemore along with TikTok trends have made it impossibly difficult for homeless people to afford decent clothes. Before this, they were typically non profit charities that could provide extremely cheap clothes, shoes, and such for homeless people who needed them, and stuff like DVDs, teddy bears and school clothes for struggling families.
I was homeless for a period in 2022 so I'm quite passionate about it, but even just since then I've seen the op shops (that's just what we call them) raise their prices more and more and throw away less and less damaged clothes because the people coming in expect a clothing store, not a second hand store.

It medicinally refers to a person suffering from schizophrenia a real life mental illness, even thought it is neither polite nor funny but I don't see it as a slur , like other derogatory terms that I will not obviously say ?
So schizophrenia isn't a slur in and of itself, however the way it was used by the chatter was disrespectful. Asking someone "how schizophrenic do you feel" as a joke is reductive and lacks empathy. "Schizo", however, is a slur for schizophrenic people, or at least is becoming one.
But you are correct that he was wrong about how to go about dismissing that message, it's disrespectful but not a slur.

I've been writing and working on a character for DND who has developed schizophrenia, and as I am not part of that group made sure to do my research on how it is in general. (How they're treated, how it manifests, and how it affects them, etc.) Because of this, when I heard that I double-taked, because calling someone schizophrenic isn't a slur? It may be disrespectful in certain contexts, same with calling someone autistic can be if they are not autistic, but I had to go back and look some stuff up to make sure schizophrenia wasn't an outdated term.

Jokes and comedy as a whole work and two based variables a the actual connection you share with a person ( how close do you know each other and c.t.r) along with the illusion base human kinship and familiarity that the person instigating the comedic timing weaves. As such such crude and cruel jokes tend be either come as cruel or disrespectful but not as slurs epically abelistic ones that have a long and saddly running history and more based on discrimination and old religious zelotry and propaganda. Which why it had intrigued me that frost responded to it as such especially as a European.

Anyone else here not care if apparition is in the title? Am I the only one here that as long as its unmodded StS they are watching guaranteed? I don't watch heavily modded StS content and that is not to say I want frost to stop doing that content. He deserves to have fun with what he feels like streaming but at the same time I wouldn't be as consistent of a viewer if he didn't do these challenges/normal runs.

Wait are people really starting to use ableist slurs again? As a disabled man (seriously, no joke) I haven't noticed it. That's pretty bad. I do think that people trying to say "crazy" or "stupid" are slurs are a bit much though. Not saying that's what Frost is saying, just saying in general.
I've seen a few uses around lately, though I might just be noticing them more as I'm on the active lookout instead of them being said more? Not exactly sure. Hope it's just outlier examples
