There is a log storage area in your resource building just to the left as you walk in. The post that sticks up out of the floor is to stop logs rolling away. You can just 'X' your log inventory straight into it. Looks good too. I don't think NPC's use those logs but it's tidier than just dropping them on the floor.

Tallman Brad Gameplay is that actually a separate storage or is it part of the 300kg? I had assumed that space was just where logs in the storage would show, at some point.
@@johnpatz8395 it's not counted as storage space, so it doesn't fill your inventory. Which might be handy if you're running out of space. You can only use it by dropping (X) logs that you are carrying. It just saves having loose logs lying around the place when you drop them because you're encumbered. You can store hundreds of logs there if you keep picking them up then dropping them all again as one bundle. Try it, you'll see what I mean.

You could always "borrow" a bucket from one of the other villages. 😏

The only crop for summer to plant is cabbage for potage. So you need to check the info under all your seeds cause I don't want to write it all lol.

No benefit whatsoever to deleting fields and rebuilding them now except to level farming up a bit from ploughing. That was patched out a couple updates ago. I haven’t noticed a morale boost from having a tavern as of yet, and definitely not from upgrading it. Only by having stone houses and also by upgrading with daub. Maybe it’s a glitch I’m experiencing. I’ve got the tavern III and saw no changes. I’m looking forward to the beer keg and wine press inside being useful, though!

In case you haven't found out yet you can use fields to make roads. You only pay taxes on fields when you harvest them.
Hey GE! I have a nice trick: when you are picking up stones and sticks, put a spear on your hands. You will be picking up the stuff almost instantly. Is quicker than the makes hands animation. Try it ;-)
Once your skill tree reaches 10 level you can re spec your skills by talking to wife. You don't need first skill (knowledge One) once you reach level 10. You can use those 3 points in other skill.
I started the infected series to hold me off till these come out

In Tavern in order to have fire and grill working you have to assign people to work in it.

Another great episode! I had already started up in that area but a little further across near the 4 pine trees. I have noticed that some of those larger rocks say 'needs pickaxe' But I am not further enough along yet to unlock it, but I hope that it gives a nice amount otherwise picking from the ground would be quicker and use no stamina. I find that the Village back there begins with a D I think is so much closer than the starter town. I just wish that the traders didn't move around so much so that I'm not running all over the place to find them which also is easier in this closer town as it is smaller. I am really hoping that as the game gets further developed that we could decorate the outside of our homes with the tables and stools etc, even if they are only decoration. I also found some planks in a few villages that you can take that isn't considered as stealing, but I haven't found a use for those yet so I've dropped them on the ground inside my resource storage.
Thanks again for your playhtroughs, it kind of feels like we're playing together but not. I have found these so helpful. :o)

You can do the threshing of the wheat and rye to bring up your level of farming

Yes there is or was a bug that if you help the field workers it can bug out their AI.
In the off chance that you haven't already gotten to the Food Storage II in a future video, and that you actually see this, lol - Would it be possible to take everything out of the current Food Storage, tear it down and put up the II in it's place where you want it? I know during that time the villagers wouldn't be able to eat, but if it's all done and put back in one day, they would be okay, wouldn't they? Hmmm...

if you help your farmers and field workers and others it sometimes breaks them and you have to reassign them to the tasks they were doing and if one looks like they are not working same thing unassign them and then re assign them.

Can't increase your Survival anymore, GE. You maxed out that skill tree. Gonna have to wait while until the Devs increases the skill caps.
I'm hoping that the Devs add to the game a simple Water Well and a secondary source of Straw, that way we can build our village up in the mountain instead of relying heavily in the riverbanks.

put some meat and veg's and wheat and oat flour in there also rye flour so your worker can make breads and pies and potage and soups and stews in the tavern.
we have to remove tree stumps now before placing new builds
steve austin yeah, but you get a log when doing so, which makes it worth doing. I built my barn just from digging up all the stumps around my base

for logs storage there's the perfect place left to the door when entering the storage house
Maybe to help define where the area is you want to build within you could place logs to box in the area
The NPC doesn't need any of your resources for farming

well at least you still need pigs for manure to turn to fertilizer and later go for sheep for wool thread cow only gives milk but you can prob make cheese too from it. and chickens as geese give the same thing as chickens eggs and feathers

as for the field you need manure for maybe you just have to wrong thing set for planting i do alot of my farming and it doesnt seem to break them

Now you need to hire a couple of bar girls and a bar tender
there is a nice log storage place on the left side of storage building . you can walk up the wood piece and drop them over it and it stores them very nice

I love this game BUT it seems now that you cant get the tavern until you have 10k tech points 🙈 yet there are still level 1 skills like cooking that you are supposed to advance at the tavern stove. What am i missing? How do you get the tavern without waiting until near end game?
