Hi buddy where can i find a head, i have the same trimmer
What exactly fixes it?
The problem lay with the brushes. They were not making good contact with the commutator because they were not sliding freely in their housings so the springs could not push them towards the commutator. My weed eater also had a bent support for one of the brush housings which may have been a complicating factor. After the video I made doubly sure that both brushes could slide smoothly in their houses and make good contact. No problems since then and the weed eater is still going strong a year later!
@@breakfixbuildimprove4326 thank you fornthe additional details ;)
@@thomasdipaolo2349 my pleasure. When something breaks I grab the camera and film the troubleshooting process. Sometimes it is not clear what the problem and solution is. 😅
did not show how to fixes
This has already been asked and answered in the comments. The brushes were stuck and not making good contact. Freeing them up got it working.
Good news is that it is still working to this day and gets used regularly.
