Hello! Nice tutorials and I would have one question about 3D printing of the model - if you want to print model like this itself - isnt that very thin? I mean so much thin that could not be printed? I'm working in 3Ds Max and this is my issue there - I have model of car but I would need to give to it some "depth or volume" to be print and let say 3mm thickness but updating model to it (using shell modifier) is kinda pain. Do you have some tip which could help with that? Thanks!
Awesome video, might watch this playlist later. I have a question man, which workflow should i use if i need to make 3d printable rims? i can't find it on you tube
Hi, i followed your tutotrial to the end and made myself a car model (buick electra park avenue) but when I want to solidify my model it does not solidify edges of the model ( ones where model ends). 3d print addon shows it as non manifold. It also says that edge where two halves of the model meet are non manifold too. What to do?
@@Leander98 im dumb :( I just forgot to hit apply . Its my first time solidyfying and I forgot about most important thing. Now my model is ready to print. Also big thanks for tutotriall :)
Thanks for this video, i can finally finish my school project.

Are you using the solidify from the 3d print command, or the modifier panel?

@Racing Raptor it's really hard to diagnose without seeing it, but have you tried merging by distance and recalculation Normals?
