We are in a big trouble because we can’t apply for 485 visa as we are 35+. If you can please let the Sri Lankan government know this and do something to emphasise them that it will be a huge favour ,If they can raise their voice or If they can discuss with the Australian authorities for the sake of people who are already staying in Australia with this problem . Because, we are in a really bad situation right now.

All parents shoud be alert if you are keen on finding a full scholarship for your children as many leading foreign universities advertise in the web on scholaships they are offering . My daughter who got thro OLs with 9 A's by studing at a ordinary government girls school in colombo opted to do London ALs (as the then Education Department was wise enough to introduced teaching all main subjects from year 6 onwards in English medium in all Government schools around in the year 2009 or so) she opted to do London A/Ls, though ours was a totally sinhala speaking family at home thro out and she was lucky enough to get a fully funded scholarship after completing London ALs and CIM, by applying for Australian Awards full scholarship to do her Masters at Monash University, Australia, which was advertised in the web, without any kind of influence by anybody and now is holding a high ranking position in a foreign country. In my opinion poverty and low income is not a barrier if any child has the will to study and go up.
