The fact that there's a trailer for a Sinbad movie in this film about a genie, makes me think that the Mandela Effect of there being a Sinbad Shazam movie originated from this tape.
Could be. Furthermore, the actual VHS of Sinbad's First Kid has a preview for Kazaam on it. And on the VHS of Microcosmos, the previews for First Kid and Kazaam are shown back to back. So there's a chance that the Shazaam Mandela Effect may have originated from all three of these tapes.
Now just remember Hollywood Picutres (defunct) and Touchstone Pictures are part of Buenas Vista Subsidiary home entertainment group which is consider as Walt Disney films, that means the following films like Kazaam, Conair, Nothing to Lose, Gone Fishin, the Step Up franchise, The live action Super Mario Bros. Movie, and several more distributed films outside the family friendly indusrty are actually Disney movies.
