Luffy is a real man, and real men do cry.
alex martineau so true. The world needs to realize that a real man isn’t afraid to show his tears. It takes more courage to show your emotions then it does to hide them. Luff never hides anything and he’s the bravest character in any show or movie or book I’ve ever seen.

One Piece is one of the best animes I have ever seen, its the only one except Samurai Seven that has made me cry, though I have cried more for these characters than I have for any before or since. I love this show and I can't wait to see it through to its conclusion.

The cool thing about one piece is that it appeals to a lot of different kinds of entertainment seekers. I can be action packed, funny, very well thought out, etc. However not all the arcs do this individually, which means that some people that really like the show can get bored during some parts of it. Myself included. One Piece FTW!

yeah one piece seems to have all the best amvs and this is easily the best one piece amv. my favorite one overall also.

I cry so that touching video. Their friendship always helps me when I'm sad. Their adventures, their lives, their happiness, also makes me cry ... It's hard to say but, if I could go into their world and join their crew, I would.
This is probably one of the best one piece amvs ive seen. You beat and lyric sync'd the whole song without using too many effects. Awesome

I have seen many anime AMV's most of them are ok and then there are the rare ones that are just.... simply put boss! This AMV falls under that "boss!" category! Great work!

it's because of the rough childhood that makes them strong...maybe...
It says something that Zoro's is probably the least traumatising and he "only" lost his best friend in a random accident.

Let me start with the captain all way to last member of the crew.
Luffy- He lost his brother Ace in Paramount War right in front of his very own eyes. He thought he lost his other brother Sabo in early age but discover Sabo is actually alive in Dressrosa Arc. Spend his entire life in woods with group of Mountain Bandits that Garp know.
Zoro- Never knew much about his family but he sure wander away and decide to protect himself by challenge headon. Kuina was Zoro's goal to surpass for long time and they both swore an oath that either Kuina or Zoro will become World's Greatest Swordman. After that, Kuina slipped and died, leave Zoro filled with sorrow. You can see that Zoro nearly kill himself for working so hard to himself. When Kuina's father talk to him, Zoro cried but he request the sword in honor to have piece of Kuina with him to fulfill the oath that they both swored.
Usopp- His father left the village to purchase his dream and adventure as pirate. He only got his mother at that time when he's baby. His mother passed away and yet, Usopp continue with his lies. He's been cowering in fear b/c he actually don't know what he should do but seeing Kayla, his ray of hope, he's decide to keep on lying and one day, he finally decide to go out to the sea.
Sanji- Sanji is one of the rough childhood by far. He lost his mother, his father don't think of Sanji as son but as failure to Vinsmoke family and his 3 brothers beat the living shit out of him. Sanji's dream, All-Blue, was laughed by Cooks and Pirates but Zeff didn't laugh. Zeff sacrifice his leg to protect Sanji. Sanji thought if he could repay him by giving his life on the line but Zeff and Luffy convinced Sanji that he can't repay by death but repay by living his own dream.
Nami- Nami's hometown was ravaged by Arlong and her adopted mother sacrificed her life to protect Nami and Nojiko, Nami's adopted sister. Nami was forced to be Arlong's map maker and even got cheated by Arlong's greatest plot that Nami have to repay Arlong with 100 million beli to free her hometown no matter how long it take. Nami's villagers decided to rebel against Arlong's crew even they knew that they won't survive but to buy time for Nami to escape. Nami thought that she can handle it all by herself but when things go horribly wrong, she couldn't think a way to prevent it. She finally decided to call for help to Luffy.
Robin- She lost everything! Her mother, her new friend Saul, her mentors and her hometown that was erased by Buster Call. With high bounty on her head, Robin suffered loneliness and being chased by Hell. With no friends she could relied on, she feared that Government will take away her happiness again but Luffy and the crews changed her life. Robin, at the age of 28, finally found her happiness and no longer feared of being chasing by Hell.
Franky- Gotta give this dude, he's funny! Franky always build killer machines but I have no futher details about Franky's parents but Tom, Franky's mentor and Iceburg treated him like family. Franky realized that his killer machine he made was used by Spandam and he can't help but feel responsible for it Tom was guilty by his action as shipwright of Gol D. Roger in exchange to save Franky and Iceburg. Franky tried to save Tom but failed. After Tom's death, Franky decided to stay at Water 7 to protect Puffing Tom Train with his Franky Family Crews. Robin and Iceburg was the only two that convince Franky to move on Tom's death.
Brook- Even though it's not a childhood but this guy have rough past. Boy! Brook's promise to his dear friend whale, Laboon that he'll return in other side but he and his crew are dead. Brook, who suffer loneliness for 50 years, hoping to see Laboon one day but he feared that Laboon was dead or don't recognize him. His shadow was taken by Moria and he can't live in sunlight so the heavy fog kept him alive for so long. After his shadow returned and heard the new of Laboon from Luffy, he cried in joy. After his song, Brook decided to join Luffy.
That's all of Straw Hat Crew's rough childhood/past. I hope you enjoy reading it b/c it's obviously that you skip it and think of it as boring. I do apologize for my boredom but that's how I write.
The people who went through the act of disliking this amazing amv needs to learn a lesson of what a great amv is when you see one

difficult goodbyes are kind of like a theme in one piece. nothing shows it better than this amv. i see others saying it and i agree, this is my favorite amv.

The only time you are even remotely allowed to get bored of One Piece, is when you've watched all the episodes. And even then the only part you get bored about is waiting an entire week for the next episode!

I love how most of this was focus on chopper cause his one of my favorite mascots in anime.
i just want to say that this is my second favorite amv of you (the first is the second chance) and i can't get enough of watching it, it gives me so much inspiration, escpecially the scene with Hiruluk where he is naked gives me chills! (not the fact that he is naked xD but how the song connects with the scenes :') amazing !)
