30 Minute Dancer Body Sculpt Workout | No Dance Experience required | Standing Full Body Workout

- Join me for a 30 minute dancer pilates workout session that will work your entire body. This standing workout needs no dance experience and will give you a light cardio workout as well as a standing core workout. I have created this from my experience as a former professional dancer and now a Certifed Pilates Teacher. This session has dance and ballet inspired exercises that may surprise you in how challenging they are to your muscles. You'll be sure to feel a glow and get a thigh burn after this one! Enjoy!

I love the dance moves in this, a nice way to change things up. I like that there’s is no music because I find I can concentrate more on doing the moves.

Dear Rachel, I subscribed to your channel after doing your first video. I had to drop out of the classes at our local gym due to the horrendous very loud "music ". Not having background music is fine with me , but with Pilates \barre some music that is soft and flowing seems to fit. Pilates is so relaxing. I'm 75 but I'm able to keep up with all of the videos, not necessarily just the senior series. Here in the southern US the heat index has been 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Would love to see more Barre and Ballet workouts. I enjoy all of your workouts although at 72 I like your Standing Pilates best..haven’t graduated to Senior Pilates yet but am sure they will one day be in my future.

This was very challenging, 🥵especially with my balance issues! I couldn't joined this morning because there was a problem on the optic line . I was so disappointed but just dud my session.
What a Wonderful workout, we couldn't deserved better. I enjoyed it so much and found it was good. I kept squeezing the bottom and then heard you say it.

I absolutely LOVE the ballet exercises and barre workouts. They are my go to if I’m tired after full time working and if I just want do that channelling of the ballerina I never was!! More please……but just keep doing what you are doing. My staff think I’m on commission as I’m always talking about Rachel and Pilates, but you are tremendous. Thank you so much 🎉❤

Thank you! Found this challenging, in a good way. Used a chair for balance. Strangely, it was my feet that felt the work most. I had to adapt lunges due to hamstring issues.

This was a tremendous help for my dodgy hip today. I couldn't do the last stretch reaching the knee to the floor but the previous exercises really eased the tightness in readiness for the physio treatment I am having later in the day.

After some problems yesterday due to heat and aching knees, I've completed the work out today, all good. Really liked this type of exercise with the dance moves, a bit different.

If you do decide to do music, which I feel is not necessary and prefer you do not, please do something classical like they used to do in ballet class. Please no zen type music.
