A magical interpretation. Many performers play this Concerto in the "Sturm und Drang" style, which has its reasons. But, on the contrary, this rendition shows and gives us pure, tender, delicate and intimate Mozart in a refined classical style. The interpretation leads the soul into heavenlike space and mood. It makes pleasure to enjoy how Yulia Miloslavskaya incorporates fine details into her clear playing. The orchestra is also fine and nuanced. Bravissima, maestra Yulia, bravissimi tutti!

Beautiful performance. My favorite piano concerto.
First time hearing Yulia play and she took me in right away, quite breathtaking really. From the beginning, I was sure i was hearing something new, something different, a fresh and vibrant interpretation of this piece. I saw Barenboim conduct and play this piece with the CSO and it was marvelous but this playing is something very sensual from this young lady. I enjoy reading the comments and i made a point to wait until after the end of the video to read what others thought and sure enough others feel the same way. Looking forward to hearing more from Yulia

But it is interesting to contrast a young soloist and orchestra with a much more seasoned one playing in Salzburg as a bonus. Very impressive, and in some ways better than the other one.

Great performance. Seeing her caressing the keys and listening to the appropriate speed of playing ist wonderful! Mozart does not always have to be played fast!
It' s wonderful to see her caressing the keys. "Music industry" (ridiculous word) wants Chopin's "Minutenwalzer" to be played in 58 seconds ... good to see young people who understand. Die meisten Leute begreifen nicht, wie schwierig es ist, dieser Maschine "Klavier" einen lebendigen Ton abzuringen...

Haces que el piano emita un sonido increíble y maravilloso que hace soñar.
Fascinating playing by Yulia Miloslavskaya. I can't quite put my finger on it, but my ear feels it like the notes are a fraction more separated, thus more clear, more "articulated" than with other players. It makes her performance more brilliant, more beautiful, more alive, to my experience. Of course the recording engineers also do it justice. (Mozart piano concerto 20, Oct. 1, 2017, Zurich)

This and the #24 are my favourite Mozart piano 🎹 concertos. Why? I dont know! Both are misterious and not just beautiful, but enormously beautiful. Thanks to UA-cam,Yulia and the orquestra for bring us such a inmortal music.

What makes this performance so brilliant and outstanding?- Is it the great piano play from Yulia M.? Is it the conductor in his awareness and sensitivity? Or the PreCollege Orchestra Zurich?- Together they create a unique space of awareness and Art.
It's such a wonder the beautiful things man can create, as in this musical piece, and at the same time have all these horrible wars going on at the moment, it really boggles the mind when you think about it. So happy to have this 31min of composition played with such feeling and emotion.
Sadly empathy wasn't dished out equally, I suppose in a way it works, cause if we all had empathy, would we all be destructive, not saying the people who start wars are empathetic but I suppose empathy wouldn't be so beautiful if we all had it. Mind people who started wars and where ruthless rulers created some of the most beautiful things in life e.g. Versailles, but beautiful people created ugly things to Oppenheimer and nuclear bombs, he meant to stop wars with it's power. But well put, it is a shame, as Dr Who said, we are stupid humans, but capable of so much more. 😊❤

Wow what an exquisite piece. Unlike most Americans the 3 minute mark, I made it past that point. I closed my eyes and into the upper chamber it sounded. The fast fast parts but Lord.... and then the calm The Voice " be still and know peace." Thank you very much for this posting. 3 minutes is a quickie. 20 minutes is a conversation.

Great stuff. To have a composition like this to your name really makes your "bones". A very well written piece. I am not a big Mozart fan but there is some brilliance and mastery shown in this work. This is no performing monkey.

Oh! it's so in a so natural way. beautiful, graceful Mozart. I enjoyed very much. I hear that Beethoven said "Tempo is Music" I would feel there aren't too feathery touch through to the end. Occasionally I would love to listen to Ivan Klansky No.20. I would love his beautiful tempo, grace note just in absolute time, phrasing and key board articulation skill veryvery much.

Impeccable performance in everyway. EXCELLENT Stylistic interpretation. Best wishes with your career! I enjoyed your fluid free arm movement - position of upper lower arm, free elbow away from torso ( perfect ). A very natural correct approach without unnessesary exaggeration. You are so at ease and 100% engaged, beautiful clear tone / articulation, stagecraft perfect as well as an outstanding orchestra and audio recording. ' Truely Mozart!' BRAVO !!!
