My father said he couldn't do it either so he became a family practice lawyer dealing with divorces and child custody. He has taken on a few criminal cases for friends (usually friends' drunk kids) but he didn't like criminals and didn't think he could stand dealing with them. Very few are innocent and not many deserve to have their sentences reduced.

I understand the difficulties of being the defendant of this woman, but a lawyer that defends her at the best of his capacity is fundamental for her sentence. You don't want her to appeal to the sentence and risk some kind of mistrial because she has not been defended adequately. The defending attorney is a crucial element, everyone defending this woman knows that they can't save her butt, but it's really important that she's defended in the best of ways. Because of that the sentence is secured and cannot be debated.

Yes, but as tough as it was, someone should’ve been there for Taylor, even though she’s a deplorable human being, and deserves the death penalty.
I mean, how are you going to let your family member face the death sentence alone?
On the other hand, with that woman did is Heynis beyond words, so her family was probably ashamed of her and didn’t want to be in the same court room with the victims family members… How could they even look at them in the eye you know?

      Life imprisonment: *YES.*
      Death penalty: *NO.*
The day on which this woman is killed through death penalty is the day on which those who are responsible for such decision will have committed the same abomination _she_ committed.
God doesn't look at States laws for He's God and what matters are His Laws.
Death penalty is evil and it doesn't help people heal. It does the opposite.
A nation that kills its own citizens is going to have to suffer, at some point.
Just like abortion is murder, so is death penalty.
*Until these are permitted, legal and practiced, America will continue on the path on which it's been: a path of self destruction leading into total darkness, a destroyed economy, famine, poverty, further crime, more and more senseless murders all the way to the point of falling under a tyranny.*

I do feel+ this might sound harsh- it is ridiculous in cases where the info is open/ shut, guilt is 100% established, to have the criminal sit on death rows for yrs on end. Execution ( when there is no doubt of guilt) should be swift. This woman murdered a beautiful young woman,+ a precious little baby girl, in cold blood. End of story.
